MPLS Curriculum—
Lab Setup Guide
Overview
This document describes the MPLS curriculum lab setup. It also contains the
necessary initial router configurations.
Lab Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up the laboratory for MPLS Curriculum exercises:
n Wire the laboratory equipment according to the setup specified in the MPLS
Curriculum Management Guide
n Download the initial configurations to the Good, Cheap, NMS and Client
routers.
NMS.txt Good.txt Cheap.txt Client.txt

n Download the initial configurations to the router acting as Frame Relay
switch
MPLS_WAN_Switch.t

n Download the initial configuration to the routers inside the workgroup, named
A1, A2, B1, B2, PE1, PE2, PE3, PE4 and P (see MPLS Curriculum
Management guide for lab kit list details)

Note The above workgroup router configurations are specified for workgroup number 1,
for any additional workgroup the configurations need to be modified appropriately.

Note To detach the above files use the following procedure: select icon, copy it to the
clipboard and detach it in your Windows Explorer to appropriate directory!
