II.Grammar:

1.*‘Many’ : nhiều: =>dùng chủ yếu trong câu 
Phủ Định và câu Nghi vấn.

Are there many trees near your house?

2.*‘A lot of (lots of): nhiều: =>danh từ không 
đếm được và danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều trong

câu Khẳng định.

. There are a lot of trees near my house.

3.* Still(adv): vẫn, vẫn còn=> thường đứng trước 
động từ thường và đứng sau động từ “to be”

*My parents still live in Bac Giang.
*Ms. Thuan is still young.

3. So sánh hơn với tính từ, trạng từ:

a) Với tính từ, trạng từ ngắn:

Tính từ/trạng từ ngắn là tính từ/trạng từ có một vần,
ví dụ như: long, short, tall, high... có hai vần
nhưng tận cùng bằng: y, “er” "ow" cũng được xếp
vào loại tính từ/trạng từ ngắn. Ví dụ như: happỵ

(hạnh phúc, vui vẻ), clever (thông minh, lanh lợi),

narrow (hẹp) ....

* Một số tính từ/trạng từ ngắn các em cần nhớ :

slim (thon thả), weak (yếu), strong (khỏe), thin 
(ốm), big (lớn), small (nhỏ), tall (cao),..

Cách thành lập tính từ, trạng từ so sánh hơn:
Để thành lập tính từ, trạng từ so sánh hơn, ta thêm

ER vào sau tính từ, trạng từ ngắn.

S1 + am/is/are + adj_ER + than + S2. 
S1 + V(chia) + adv_ER + than + S2.

Eg. Hoa is taller than Mai.

Minh is smaller than her mother.
 Ngoại lê

*Good/well=> better; *bad/badly/ill => worse
*little => less; *Much/many=> more

*far => farther/further

*quiet=> quieter hoặc more quieter
*clever=> cleverer hoặc more clever
*narrow => narrower hoặc more narrow
*simple => simpler hoặc more simple

Tính từ dài: S1 + am/is/are + more + adj + than + S2 ….

Trạng từ dài: S1+ V(chia) + more + adv + than + S2.. 
My school is more beautiful than yours (your school).

– Ví dụ: My ruler is 5 cm long. Nam’s ruler is 7 cm long.

–> My ruler is shorter than Nam’s.(thước kẻ của tôi nhắn hơn thước kẻ của Nam)
–> Nam’s ruler is longer than mine.

Nga is more beautiful than Hong.(Nga xinh hơn Hồng)

4.Hỏi và trả lời về khoảng cách giữa 2 địa điểm bao xa:

(?) How far is it from địa điểm 1 + to + địa điểm 2?

(+) It is (about) + khoảng cách + meter(s)/ kilometer(s). 
Ví dụ: Ms. Thuan: How far is it from your house to your school?
Nhi: It is about two kilometers.

Một số quy tắc chung khi nói ngày tháng và các mùa bằng tiếng Anh

1. Khi nói ngày trong tháng, chỉ cần dùng số thứ tự tương ứng với ngày muốn nói, nhưng phải
thêm THE trước nó.

Ex: September the second = ngày 2 tháng 9. Khi viết, có thể viết September 2nd
2. Khi nói vào mùa nào, dùng giới từ IN đằng trước.

Ex: It always snows in winter here. = Ở đây luôn có tuyết rơi vào mùa đơng.
3. Khi nói vào ngày nào trong tháng, phải dùng giới từ ON trước ngày.

Ex: On the 4th of July, Americans celebrate their Independence Day. = Vào ngày 4 tháng 7,
người Mỹ ăn mừng ngày Quốc Khánh của họ..

4. Khi nói, vào tháng mấy, phải dùng giới từ IN đằng trước tháng.

Ex: In september, students go back to school after their summer vacation. = Vào tháng chín,
học sinh trở lại trường sau kỳ nghỉ hè.

5. Khi nói, vào thứ mấy, phải dùng giới từ ON đằng trước thứ.
Ex: On Sunday, I stay at home. = Vào ngày chủ nhật. tôi ở nhà..

6. Nếu muốn nói ngày âm lịch, chỉ cần thêm cụm từ ON THE LUNAR CALENDAR đằng sau.
Ex: August 15th on the Lunar Calendar is the Middle-Autumn Festival. = 15 tháng 8 âm lịch là
ngày tết Trung Thu.

Ta thấy “always” là một trạng từ chỉ tần suất và thường được gặp trong thì hiện tại đơn. Nhưng
đó là khi đơn thuần muốn nói đến tần suất diễn ra của một sự việc nào đó. Ví dụ như: “She
always goes to school at 6.30 am.” (Cô ấy luôn đi học vào lúc 6h30). Nhưng khi muốn diễn đạt
