<b>I.Aim</b>.


-By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
+ use adjectives to describe physical appearance.
+ listen and choose the right picture.


<b>II.Language contents :</b>


- Grammar: + He is tall / She is short.


-Vocabulary:tall, short, thin, fat, heavy, light, gymnast, weak, strong, weight lifter.


<b> III.Techniques :</b>


- Slap the board, write it up, picture drill.


<b>IV.Teaching aids :</b>


-Pictures and a cassette.

-T. sticks the picture A 1 on the board and T.
has ss introduce the parts of the body. Ss
introduce.


-T. observes and marks.


-T. presents the lesson by using the pictures. Ss
listen.


-T. presents new words by using pictures, reads
them. Ss listen, repeat and copy them in their
notebooks.


-T. has ss read the words aloud. Ss read them
aloud.


-T. observes ss’ pronunciation when they
finish.


-T. divides the class into 2 groups. Each group
has 4 students, students stand at an equal
distance from the board. T. calls out the
vietnamese word, 2 students from each group
run forward and slap the English word on the
board. The student slapping the correct first
word is the winner and gets one point for his /
her group. Go on until students have slapped
all the words.

sentences and write them on the board.
