-Know more about the development of the cinema from the old silent films to
musicals.
-Learn some new words about films and cinema.
-Read for gist and for specific information.
-Know how to surmarize the passage.

-New words: still (a), motion (n), decade (n), rapidly (adv), character(n),
audience(n), replace (v).

Text book, hand-outs, chalk, pictures.
<b>V. Procedure:</b>
