READING
I. Objectives:
- Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss can be able to read about the Doi Moi Program and have some
knowledge of economic changes.
- Lexical items: words or phrases related to economic reforms
- Structures: modals, compound nouns
- Teaching aids: posters, pictures, textbooks
II. Procedure :

Warm up :
-Divide the class into two teams
-Ask Ss to play the games in 1 minute and 30 seconds
-Ask Ss to give some nouns of jobs
-Call on Ss to give the answers on the board
-Give feedback
-Announce the winner
-Lead in the new lesson
Pre-reading :

Task a)
-Ask Ss to work in pairs to do the task
-Present some Yes- No questions and the answers
A: Do you work in ? B: Yes, I do.
Do you wear uniform ? No, I dont
Do you have a high degree ? Thats right

-Call on some Ss to play the game in front of the class
-Give feedback



Task b) Answer the questions :
-Ask Ss to look at the pictures on page 68
-Get Ss to work in groups of four to do task b)
-Call on Ss to give the answers
-Give feedback and correct answers
-Look at the charts on the board
-Play the game as directed
-Go to the board to write the words ( in turns)

people notice about us and because it can make
a good impression on the interviewer and
because we can show our respect to the
interviewer.
2. We should speak slowly and clearly during

and because this manner also show that we are
respectful of the interviewer.
