LESSON PLAN UNIT 13: HOBBIES PART B: SPEAKING I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: -. Practice the speaking skill: to ask and answer questions about hobbies. Learn some new vocabulary items relating to the topic (Hobbies). Talk about their favors activities in daily life.. II. TIME: 45’ III. TECHNIQUES: Guessing game, pair/group work, question and answer. IV. LEXICAL ITEMS & STRUCTURE(S): - Lexical items: Second-hand (a), classify (v), landscape (n), broaden (v), pen-friend (n), book stall (n), category(n). - Structures: prefer…to…, be fond of, be keen on, be bored with,.. V. TEACHING AIDS: Textbook, black board, sub-board, handout, chalks, pictures. VI. PROCEDURES: STAGES Warm up (7’).
