Skills: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Ask and answer questions about music - Talking about favorite kinds of music - Report others’ information V. Teaching aids: -Teacher’s: Textbook, hand out, computer, speaker. -Students’: Textbook, notebook, board, chalk, draft paper. VI. Procedure: 1. Settlement: Greet the Ss. 2. Revise Ss words about music - Give Ss pieces of music in “My love” song of Westlife. - Aks Ss to guess the name and composer of this song. - Introduce a poster about Westlife - Ask Ss some questions:. Time 7’. 1. Do you like listening to music? 2. What kind of music do you like? Lead in : To talk about the kinds of music you like, today we learn continuously “UNIT 12- Speaking”. T asks Ss what questions they can ask if they want to know about their friend’s favorite kind of music , reasons for listening to music, favorite ban/ musician/ singer, favorite song and when their friend listens to music. - Give Ss some suggested questions:  What kind of music do you like?  Why do you listen to music?  What is your favourite band/ musician?  What is your favorite song?  When do you listen to music? - Ask Ss to work in groups of 3 people.
