<b>I. AIMS:</b>


<b>1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:</b>
- Recognize and say the three Nn words correctly


- Do the corresponding actions
- Read the story


Sing letter Nn song


Vocabulary :nut, net, nest, nose


<b>2. Skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking.</b>


<b>3. Attitude:-Recognize and say a new N word correckly</b>


Requirements:students with disability can to paint the picture but slow


<b>II. TEACHING AIDS: </b>


1. Teacher’s:i-Learn My Phonics Grade 2 , lesson plan, CD Phonics cards .
2. Students’: Pupil’s Book , Activity Book .


<b>III. TEACHING METHODS</b>:


- Communicative approach



- Techniques: + Ask and anwer( say individually)
+ Work in pairs/ groups. Discuss


<b>IV. PROCEDURES: Time 35’- 40</b>


<b>1. Organization: (2mins)</b>


- Greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon. How are you?
- Checking for the students’ attendence

<b>2.Warm up: (5mins) Show the phonics cards, ask students to do corresponding </b>
actions then say the sound of the letter and words.

Class: (mime eating nuts) /N/ nut Or


Have students sing the chant in lesson 1, keep the rhythm by clapping their hands
or snapping their fingers.

- Show the picture to the whole class.
Point to the nut and say: a nut.


Point to the fish and say: a fish.


- Ask the students which one begins with letter Nn.

- Have the students circle the nut that has Nn in it
and say: /N/ nut


- Give the students 2 minutes to circle the pictures
that have Nn in them.


Go around the classroom asking the students to say
the n sound they circle.

<b>Activity: which one is missing(10mins)</b>


- Put the phonics cards face up on the table/stick


them on the board.


- Give the students a minute to look at the cards.
- Have students close their eyes and then you take
away one cards.


- Tell the students to open their eyes and name the
missing.


<b>Activity 7: (10mins)</b>


- Show the students the <i><b>nose</b></i> phonics card. Point to
it and say: /N/ - nose. Ask them to repeat.


<i><b>- </b></i>Point to your nose and say: /N/ - nose. Encourage
the students to do the same.


- Point to the pictures, the students do corrsponding
actions and say the words.


- Give the students 2 minutes to colour in the
pictures of the words that begin with the /N/ sound.
- Go around the classroom asking the students to
say the n words they are colouring.

- Draw 2 small square boxes underneath them on
the board


- Ask the students which one goes with letter Nn
and then tick the correct box



- Tell the students that they are going to write the
letter Nn in the boxes in their book and tick the
correct picture that corresponds to the


- Ask sts with disability write the letter Nn in the
boxes in book


<b>Activity 3: (7mins)</b>


- Put the Phonics card (nut) on the board.
- Copy the dashed line from question 1 in the
book to the board


- Demonstrate tracing the line to connect the ant
and the word __est


- Ask the students for the missing letter and write
it in the gap


- Have the students do the same procedure in their
book


- Ask sts with disability for the missing letter and
write it in the gap

- Go around and give help as needed


<b>Activity 4: use the pictures(7mins)</b>


- Show and point to each picture on page 3 and
say the sound and then the word. Students listen
and nod or shake their head. If they nod, trace a
