<b> Adverbs of frequences ( Trạng từ tần xuất ) : </b>

Adverbs of frequences : thường đứng trước động từ thường và sau đông từ Tobe
Always: luôn luôn

Usually: thường thường
Often: thường

Sometimes / occasionally: thỉnh thoảng
Never: không bao giờ

Ex : I am never free on Mondays.

Exercise:

Put adverbs of frequences in correct positions

1. She gets up at 6:15 in the mornings. ( usually)
2. He is busy from Mondays to Saturdays. ( always)
3. Hoa’s uncle plays chess in the evenings. ( often)
4. He is a good student. ( always)

5. I am free on Sundays. ( usually)
6. Does he go to school by bus? ( often)
7. Fast food is good. ( rarely)

II. Suggestions

Indefinitive quentifiers (Đại lượng khơng hạn định)

Afew ( một chút, một ít) : đứng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều.( ex: afew books, afew pens….)
A little ( một chút, một ít) : đứng trước danh từ không đếm được ( alittle time, alittle money, alittle
rice…)

A lot of / lots of ( nhiều): đứng trước danh từ đếm được và danh từ không đếm được trong câu khẳng
định.

Some ( một vài) : dùng trong câu khẳng định và đứng trước danh từ đếm được và danh từ không đếm
được

Any ( một vài) : dùng trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn trước danh từ đếm được và danh từ không
đếm được

A ( một) : đứng trước danh từ số ít đếm được và có âm tiêt đầu tiên là phụ âm

An (một) : đứng trước danh từ số ít đếm được và có âm tiêt đầu tiên là nguyên âm ( u, e, o, a,
i)
