<b>IV. Writing: (Page 113)</b>
In Vietnam, there is a great
excitement built up well before Tet.
First, every family organizes a trip to
cemetery to visit the graves of their
ancestors. After that, to create an air
of prosperity, wealth and fun for the
first three days of the Lunar New
Year, people are kept busy cooking
traditional foods, buying flowers and
making other preparation. Certain
items deemed to be bought or made
are banh chung, dried watermelon
seeds, tea, fruits (fresh and candied).
On the New Year’s days, only good
<i>red envelopes with lucky money</i>
inside. Visits to family members,
neighbors and close friend friends
are planned. Clearly, enough, games
and form of entertainment are staged
. Varying traditions specialties
including wrestling, buffalo fighting
or dragon or unicorn dancing may
take place in different regions.
