• Joseph Conrad(1857- 1924) was a


Polish-born British novelist



• His father was a novelist and traslator

his uncle’s house



• He worked as a sailor and then


captain on British ship

• In 1894, Conrad gave up the sea and decided on
a literary career


• In 1895, he produced his first novel in English “

<b><sub>Conan Doyle was born in Edinburgh </sub></b>


<b>Scotland.</b>


<b><sub> He is now referred to as “Conan Doyle” </sub></b>


<b>the origin of his compound surname is </b>
<b>uncertain.</b>


<b><sub> He was sent to the Roman catholic Jesuit </sub></b>


<b>prepartory school Hodder place. Stony </b>
<b>hurstat the age nice.</b>


<b><sub>In 1875 he left the school, he had rejected </sub></b>

<sub> In 1885 he married Lousia Hourkins .After his </sub>
wife’s death, he married Jean Elizabeth.


<sub> He died of a heart attack age 71 on 7 July, 1930</sub>
