Egypt is the history of a unified

Egypt History
In the course of 7000 years of history, Egypt has had a

domination. Known in ancient times was "Eastern" at
about 3300 BC. Next came the Hyksos dynasty circa 1700 1580 BC. About 600 years later with the Libyans to the
west to establish a dynasty. In 730 BC Egypt fell into the
dependence of Nubia to the south.
In 672 BC, Egypt was a force from a distance is the

Ancient Egyptian art refers to the style of
painting, sculpture, crafts and architecture
developed by the civilization in the lower

Nile Valley from 5000 BC to 300 AD. Ancient
Egyptian art was expressed in paintings
and sculptures, and was both highly
stylized and symbolic. Much of the
surviving art comes from tombs and
monuments and thus there is an emphasis
on life after death and the preservation of
knowledge of the past.


Egypt Art
In a more narrow sense, Ancient Egyptian art
refers to the canonical 2nd and 3rd Dynasty
art developed in Egypt from 3000 BC and
used until the 3rd century. Most elements of
Egyptian art remained remarkably stable
over that 3000 year period without strong
outside influence. The quality of observation
started at a high level and remained near that
level throughout the period.

formation of the earliest Egyptian civilization.

industry and commerce have grown from

Transport in Egypt is centered in Cairo and largely

operated by Egyptian National Railways. The badly
maintained road network has expanded rapidly to over
21,000 miles, covering the Nile Valley and Nile Delta,
Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts, the Sinai, and the
Western oases.
In addition to overseas routes, Egypt Air provides
reliable domestic air service to major tourist
destinations from its Cairo hub. The Nile River system
(about 1,600 km. or 1,000 mi.) and the principal canals
(1,600 km.) are important locally for transportation.


Egypt education
Mansoura University Egypt has the largest overall
education system in the Middle East and North Africa
(MENA) and it has grown rapidly since the early 1990s. In
recent years the Government of Egypt has accorded even
greater priority in improving the education system.
According to the Human Development Index (HDI), Egypt
is ranked 123 in the HDI, and 7 in the lowest 10 HDI

countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa, in 2009.
