PART I: INTRODUCTION
1. Reasons for choosing topics
Researchers have statistically that, those who speak English well are more
likely to succeed in many fields of research and career advancement. Especially
in the era of the 4.0 revolution that is taking place today, English in particular
and other popular languages such as Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean ... play
an even more important role in our life…... English is the official language of
more than 53 countries and territories, the official language of the EU and is the
3rd most spoken language in the world after China and Spain (due to differences
in population. nation). It can be said that English has become a global language
and is like a travel ticket, a bridge to help you easily get a stable job with a
higher salary ....... Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training has
introduced English into Vietnam's education program right from the primary
level. However, the ability of Vietnamese students to continue teaching in
English is still not proficient, not commensurate with that of other subjects.
Especially, students in schools located in difficult economic areas, students in
remote and isolated areas, with low educational conditions, and limited learning
and communication conditions are not aware of the important to learning,
especially English. Since then, the quality of teaching and learning English in
mountainous areas in recent years has remained low. The thought of creating a
communication environment for students to practice is a necessary method to

improve their language learning ability. However, class time is limited with a lot
of knowledge content and a large number of students, so doing extracurricular
sessions both enhances the spirit of the subject and reinforces the amount of
knowledge in the classroom and creates Comfortable gas to communicate is
extremely helpful for overcoming the above difficulties. In order to improve the
effectiveness of English teaching in high schools and practice communication
skills for students, I chose the topic Experience initiative: “Some
extracurricular activities to stimulate the spirit and motivation for students
with English subject in the mountainous region”
2. Objective:
- Building the process of organizing extracurricular activities
- Design some English extracurricular activities
- Organize some extra-curricular sessions for students
3. Mission:
- Study documents related to extracurricular activities
- Research documents and facilities for extracurricular activities
- Analyze content knowledge of English programs in grades 10-11-12 from
which to determine the content of Extracurricular activities.
4. Subject of study:
System of basic and specialized knowledge of "language skills" in English 1011-12

4

- The documents on extracurricular activities in learning, developing
communication skills, developing thinking, improving knowledge of the subject
as well as society.
- Methods of designing extracurricular activities in teaching and learning about
English reading comprehension, listening, speaking, grammar skills 10, 11 and
12.

5. Object:
- English 10, 11 and 12 in high school
6. Research method:
- Textbooks of high school level
- Use the form of conversation with teachers and students to investigate teaching
and learning to attract high school students' excitement as well as the application
of extracurricular activities.
- Conducting research on relevant documents to serve as a theoretical and
practical basis for the topic.
- Find out information on books, newspapers, internet ...
7. Experimental method of pedagogy:
7.1. Purpose:
Pedagogical experiment to test and evaluate the feasibility and
effectiveness of organizing extra-curricular activities for English subjects in
teaching and learning English at general level, from which to draw corrective
measures. suitable to promote the effects of extracurricular activities.
7.2. Prepare:
- Send content of extracurricular activities to instructors for review and editing
- Ask for permission from the school and teachers about the experiment
7.3 Object:
- I have chosen 2 classes in grade 11: 11a1 and 11a2, Quan Hoa High School Thanh Hoa.
7.4. Content:
- I conducted 3 extracurricular activities based on knowledge in the standard
program with the same content.
7.5 Experimental layout:
Experimental subjects were divided into two groups: the experimental group
was class 11a1 and the control group 11a2
Experimental group: when teaching experiment using extracurricular activities
to consolidate knowledge, check old lessons for students.
Control group: when teaching the control, do not use extracurricular activities,

but only use common questions to reinforce and check old lessons.
7.6. Check:
After teaching each lesson, it will test the quality of memorization and
the ability of students to apply knowledge of both groups on the same test. After
that, scoring and comparing and analyzing results between experimental and
control groups.
8. Purpose of writing experience initiatives:
5

In order to help students to overcome difficulties in learning foreign
languages effectively, I have tried to explore and study the written materials
about methods, plus practical experiences in the teaching process. I have drawn
some interesting experiences in teaching method and created excitement for
students about English. I hope my experience will be a small document for my
colleagues' reference.
“The lessons are very interesting; the exciting extracurricular activities
make students excited to learn English. Extracurricular activities are a good
opportunity for students to apply English in practice and also an opportunity for
teachers to recognize each child's ability in class”.
With the guideline "Learning is must be used", applying teaching and
learning methods applied. Because of that, we must create opportunities for
students so that they can apply whatever practice they have. To attract the
children, teachers must prepare activities that have practical meaning and
attractiveness. Most of our students learn but cannot use it, because they do not
have a broad vision, they themselves do not realize the importance of English
for future work.

Chapter I: LITERATURE OVERVIEW
I. Research history

I.1. Research situation and organization of "Extracurricular activities" in
the world
Every year, of the more than 30,000 student applications submitted to
each of the top universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, UCLA, nearly half
of them have achieved excellent TOEFL, SAT, and academic average scores. So
how does the admissions committee select the most deserving students?
After scores are checked, the admissions committee will read students'
essays, interviews, and extracurricular activities. With either of the two required
essays, students must write about the meaning and influence of their personality
and dreams. If the scores were predictable due to the fact that each school
publishes its average student admissions, these essays and extracurricular
activities are considered to be the "hardest" to predict. But to really put weight
on these activities in essays and interviews, the following factors need to be
achieved:
- Students' enthusiasm and passion
- The maturity and character development of students through each challenging
journey of the activity
- Leadership quality, dynamic, brave to promote your own ideas and teamwork
- The long-term, persistent commitment of students to grow and contribute to
each activity
I.2. Research situation and organization of "Extracurricular activities" in
Vietnam
Extracurricular activities play an important role in reinforcing
knowledge, adding skills and life experiences to students, helping students
6

become holistic people. However, over the past years, extracurricular activities
in high schools have not yielded high results.
The reason is that extracurricular activities in high schools are still not

attractive and lively, the concept is still heavy on internal activities, and light on
extracurricular activities. This is often seen as a recreational activity. Most are
organized in the form of a cultural program, inconsistent on the topic, and little
attention is paid to the content of the subject's learning.
Teachers are often the ones who always focus on their professional
work. Therefore, experience in organizing extracurricular activities is still
limited, the content and form of extracurricular activities are repeated again and
again, students are boring, less participant, and effective outside activities. high.
The facilities of some high schools are in short supply, the area is small ..., does
not meet the needs of extracurricular activities, so many schools have to say no
to extracurricular activities for students. Despite knowing that the need for
extracurricular activities is extremely urgent, students enjoy it very much.
Reality requires the school to establish clubs, especially specialized
clubs of each team to attract students to join. Thereby, students can explore their
abilities in many subjects, many fields and then choose their favorite subject.
In addition to the extracurricular educational activities which are conducted each
month of the year, the Moet should include small activities in program
distribution into one large activity and in particular this should be considered an
activity annual, in the professional management at high schools. In this way,
extracurricular activities in high schools can be maintained regularly and
effectively.
II. Theoretical basis of the topic
II.1. Learning 'Extracurricular activities'.
In order to improve the teaching quality of the subject, recently, on
research forums, conferences, seminars, people have discussed a lot about the
issue of innovative teaching methods. The pressing concern for those who
directly teach at high schools is how to promote students' creative initiative,
improve the effectiveness of aesthetic education, and arouse passion and
excitement. learning subjects in the present situation.
To deal with the above situation, it is necessary to combine innovative teaching

methods in both formal and extracurricular activities, but first of all, there must
be a correct concept of the importance and meaning of extracurricular activities.
Extracurricular activities under the concept of innovative teaching
methods is a form of active, useful and effective self-study, connecting the
podium with real life, expanding, extending the school of thinking - evaluation.
about lessons for students; promote the activeness and creativity of learners, recheck the quality of teaching in regular hours. Extracurricular activities,
therefore, are both educational and aesthetic activities, "Contributing to creating
a cultural lifestyle and the ability to enjoy cultural arts for students. Through
extracurricular activities, students develop a balanced intellectual, ethical,
7

physical education and aesthetic appeal "(Phan Trong Comment, Teaching
Methodology. National University Publishing House 1996, page 381)
II.2. Effects of extracurricular activities.
Through outdoor games and group discussions, students will practice
leadership skills, including vision and goal skills, team motivation, project
planning, and intentions. Patience to overcome challenges. More importantly,
the sharing sessions of the siblings about how to pursue and create
extracurricular activities will help students after the shaping program start their
own activities from.
Therefore, while a parent or student may find extracurricular activities,
if the above factors are not met, it will be difficult for the student to be “special”
to his or her abilities.
Following up the process of renewing teaching methods in high schools
in recent years, the innovative content often focuses on regular hours, while the
extra-curricular form is less focused on implementation. Is the student's afterschool activities unimportant, and does not play a role in improving the quality
of teaching and learning the subject? It is time to redefine the position and role
of extracurricular activities, highly promote creativity, dynamism and interest of
students.

II.3. Theoretical basis
Foreign language is one of the language skills in communicating. Like
the skills to learn Vietnamese when you were a child, because the language that
is absorbed through listening is speech. Learning from the lessons in the
textbook for a year will be boring and stressful. When teaching the content in
textbooks, teachers often have to logically follow the order of the curriculum
content, orderly as prescribed by the Ministry of Education; Teaching and
learning between teachers and students is repeated throughout the school year.
To create a new atmosphere, a new space, we must change the space and time
for them, so that they have the opportunity to think freely, out of the pressure of
learning. That's why I have boldly created some extra-curricular lessons in one
semester. Extracurricular lessons by teachers take the initiative in time and space
for students, depending on the convenient location of the school. Furthermore,
when participating in the extracurricular course, they will help them be more
active and bolder. Just doing it 2-3 times per semester also helps students enjoy
learning English, giving them a chance to apply what they have gained in class.
Therefore, when teaching foreign languages, in addition to general tips that
apply to receptive skills, teachers also need to have specific tips for students'
extracurricular activities.
To have a quality extracurricular activity, teachers need to implement
the following basic teaching tips:
II.3.1. Clearly defined for students to understand English language
extracurricular learning.
Why is learning English so difficult?
8

When students learn, teachers impart knowledge, they are used to just
learning grammar to do homework. In addition, teachers also emphasize
expressing language through exercises, so forming a habit that can be difficult to

change in language learning. Therefore, learning a foreign language becomes
more difficult. When studying, students face the following challenges:
- Can't control the amount of language themselves.
- Improve literacy skills to participate in exams.
- The lesson has many new words, lazy to study.
- Do not pay attention to pronunciation, intonation, tone.
Students who do not listen and speak often will not recognize words they know.
All high schools want to create a diverse and rich environment, they
also value learning outside the classroom (from the environment and the
surrounding community) as learning in the classroom. As a result, they need
students with a variety of extracurricular interests and activities to contribute to
hundreds of school clubs and programs. On the other hand, it is these wellrounded students who will make best use of college opportunities to mature not
only academically but also socially, culturally and personality.
Extracurricular activities are activities outside of the formal curriculum,
often of a voluntary rather than compulsory nature. You can participate in
extracurricular activities in class / school or in society with many different
options: Sports, Culture, Art, Volunteering, Organization ... Extracurricular
activities play an important role. in adding your skills and life experiences to
help you become a more inclusive and enjoyable person. Extracurricular
activities of the English subject are not easy, teachers must prepare many visual
tools to help stimulate students' curiosity and interest in this subject.
II.3.2. Measures to create an effective English extra-curricular activity:
- Let students choose the topic or content that is limited by the teacher. This
brings the students attention to the topic and interests the students about the
lesson
- Introduce topics, contexts, situations, and related content in the session:
explore what students already know and don't know about the topic's content,
elicit curiosity, create excitement about the topic. the article is about to discuss
- Explain some necessary words and structures: however, it is not necessary to
introduce all new words, so let students guess the meaning of words in context.

If the student does not understand the meaning of the word, I will explain it by
definition or by example.
- Prepare the specific requirements, tasks and roles of each extracurricular
activity.
- When conducting activities, using visual aids, pictures, illustrations, movies,
music or playing the character of a story. attached will support very well for
clarifying context, suggesting discussion content. Pictures are a means of testing
students' understanding.

9

- Conduct in three phases: before, during and after the extracurricular activities.
Divide the process into steps: for example, watching a video clip depending on
the topic, I divided the process into three parts
+ Discuss main ideas, answer instructional questions, compare predictions.
+ See details of that video.
+ Discuss as per my request about the clip just about.
- Elicit the differences in answers of pairs and groups and compare the results
and discuss after responses.
- Ensuring the quality of the meeting.
+ Radio tapes, projectors with good quality images
+ Teachers operate with average speed, correct pronunciation, and detailed
instructions.
II.3.3. Types of extracurricular activities.
If you control your time and have the right study method, you'll have
time for very engaging extra-curricular. Participating in these activities will help
you discover yourself, discover qualities other than the intelligence of learning.
So, if you have never participated, now is the time to throw yourself out there
and discover yourself. Even if not for the purpose of studying abroad, these

activities will also help you a lot in life. Here are some suggestions for
extracurricular activities and activities that you can join.
Form 1:
Game activity: You can participate in a game "do as I say", a friend or teacher
sings or says some commands (in English), the rest of the members will act on
the content of the lyrics or commandment… There is not necessarily an
achievement or a certificate of merit. So you can arrange stress-free practice
time in accordance with your study schedule.

Form 2:
Musical activities: You have the talent of singing, playing musical instruments
or break dance, classical dance and have performed in front of school or in gala
10

dinners ... Art activities are often very rich and do not require you. must have
extraordinary talent. For example, participating in singing in entertainment
shows does not require you to have the golden voice of the singer, as long as you
have confidence to go on stage. Or the break dance performances don't have to
be of a professional level, practice with your friends to perform or just practice.

Form 3:
Organizational activities - Leadership: You are class president, deputy class
secretary, school union secretary, class secretary ... These are convincing
personal titles for your leadership ability. However, it is not necessary to have a
"title" for you to be an active person, a leader. You can participate in school
union work, organize gala dinner, exchange programs between class, grade in
front of the school……. These organized jobs train you to work with a plan,

accountability, and ability to work in teams. So, don't just join the fun, be the
ones creating the fun

Form 4:
11

Talent: You are good at design, you learned to draw from a young age, you
learned vocal, you played musical instruments (guitar, piano, violin ...) very
well, ……. These special talents distinguish you from other “applicants”. With
these talents, it will be very easy for you to "contribute to the campus" of your
school in the future

Artwork talent activities
Form 5:
Club activities with projects (projects)
The advantages that the English club brings to members with the same
passion and aspiration have been recognized by many schools and organizations.
Within high schools in mountainous districts, clubs are a place for students to
have the opportunity to realize the experiences of festivals and cultural
characteristics of the country…… Club activities are runways for students to
perform in English with cultural plays, literary works, and festival costumes. An
important part of the club's activities is the presentation of environmental,
technology, and science fiction projects ...
Things that when teaching in class, teachers are difficult to apply
widely. The activity that the club members are excited to participate in is to help
foreign tourists better understand the homeland and the life of the people
through the coffee exchanges or practice orientation. tour guide, ... Gradually
overcome difficulties and create such a learning environment by themselves, the

effectiveness of learning English will definitely improve.

12

II.3.4. Basic requirements when designing extracurricular activities.
- Requirements in accordance with the textbook program.
- Requirements are tailored to the target audience.
- Requirements are convenient and useful.
- Language requirements.
Chapter II. FACILITIES OF SUBJECTS
1. Advantages:
With the current technology development era, children are exposed to the
mass media more and more. Many English learning centers or apps both online
and offline are opened to serve the needs of Vietnamese people to learn English.
The Ministry of Education has organized many national competitions such as
National English Proficiency Exam, English Olympics on the Internet (IOE),
English Olympic Competition (EO), TOEFL Challenge English Contest. ,
TOEFL Junior Challenge, Olympic English for Students - Students
nationwide ... created a useful and attractive playground to help students become
more and more interested in this subject.
The team of teachers who are enthusiastic in the career of teaching and
teaching, always looking for creativity, find positive teaching methods and
suitable for students' levels and thinking.
2. Difficulties:
Our students have yet to realize the practical meaning of Foreign Language.
That is the reason why they feel that foreign languages are not important, so
they do not need to try and gradually accumulate too much lack of knowledge
leading to the thought: "English is a difficult subject". Understanding these

concerns, it is our teachers who fix and orient them so that they can fix and
promptly supplement the gaps in knowledge. To do that, I have applied a few
extracurricular activities methods to motivate students to get excited about
English subjects.
Teachers often do not follow the methods of English subject, due to a number
of reasons such as: lack of facilities in some schools, unevenness, poor quality
13

tapes or no tapes, lack of outlets. In the classroom, at the end of the term, at the
end of the year, there is no listening or speaking test.
The nature of extracurricular activities is that it takes time, large space, materials
to study ... Therefore, some schools do not have the conditions of time, space,
and material just say "No. "with extracurricular activities. There are still many
schools, which despise extracurricular activities that only focus on students'
learning of culture. Some schools make extracurricular activities too wasteful.
Chapter III
PERIOD STAGES OF EXCELLENT-COURSE ACTIVITIES
To make the extracurricular activities more appealing, I have prepared for
myself many different ways to change the active content. For example:
Watching a movie, listening to music, watching a talent show on British
television, or playing the characters in a story of your choice ... I would like to
present a genre of is watching talent shows in the UK
1. Introduction
a) Introducing new vocabulary
As I have stated above, it is not necessary to introduce all the new
words before learning. They can develop listening, speaking, and reading skills
by practicing word meanings through pictures of videos. Only words that are
difficult for students to understand the content of the text should be discussed
first

b) Prepare students to see, think about what to expect, organize, predict.
Complete the exercises before watching a short movie, or a program in English.
However, this is an extracurricular activity period, we should not apply the types
of exercises as in textbooks because that will be the reason for the boredom for
students.
2. Viewing process
Students focus on viewing details to complete requirements ... Open the video
2-3 times, ask students to view details, do the types of exercises as required by
the teacher, such as:
The types of exercises are:
+ Choose right and wrong sentences (Defining T - F)
Teacher assigns 3 to 5 correct and false sentences on a small piece of paper to
hand out to each designated group about the main idea of the video.
+ Answer questions (Answer the comprehension question)
Teacher gives several questions that contain the main idea of the video to focus
the students' attention while listening. The students do not have to guess the
answer. After listening to the question one time, ask them to answer.
+ Fill in the blank information (Filling in the gap, chart)
Teachers prepare handouts for students in groups, so that students can get key
information while watching the video
+ Find error of information (Liberate mistake)
3. After watching the movie
14

Teachers can choose many different forms for students to practice:
changing information, raising personal opinions, raising similar issues for
students to relate to themselves, maybe holding a talent contest. in class to repractice the languages they watched… The activity could be:
a) Recall the story: Have students tell in their own language. Teachers can help
students with small suggestions such as pictures and simple sentences.

b) Write it up: Ask students to write down audible and viewable information in
their own language, using information in that context.
c) Roll-story: Students play a character in the video they just watched.
d) Discussion: Discuss the issue in a pair-group lesson.
Above are some extracurricular tips to practice and improve the sense of
learning English for students. The design of extracurricular activities to provide
effective foundation and reinforcement for students. If we perform well the
methods and tricks, we will gradually overcome the teaching, attracting students'
interest in foreign languages.
Illustrative class
(The phases of an extracurricular activity session)
I. Purpose (Aim):
- Practice listening skills to get main information
- Practice life skills
- Practice practical application skills
Students watch a video about the talent show and fulfill the teacher's
requirements.
II. Stage of teaching
1) Before watching the movie
- Teacher introduces the topic: We will watch a video of UK talent competitions.
On that basis, teachers let students guess the meanings of some important words.

Illustration photo video of UK talent competitions
- Teacher can ask guessing questions before watching the video:
15

The teacher asks a few discussion questions in English or Vietnamese
depending on the level of the question and the student's academic performance
to help students gain some vocabulary while watching the clip.

For example: This is a talent contest, so according to them, “What talent will
everyone compete? "How many are there the judges?", “Who will take part in
the competition?”.…. teacher will support vocabularies in questions and
answers.
+ Teacher asks students to work in pairs and guess the answer.
+ Teacher writes students' answers on the board.
2) During viewing
The first time: Students watch a movie and check their prediction
- Ask the student: "Can you name kind of competition?"
Teacher asks students to watch the clip and pay attention to how the contestant
communicates with the judges. This is an “information-led function function”.
- Asking for information: To ask for unknown information, we use different
types of questions to collect different information.

• Do you like this programe?
• What do you feel like in this talent’s

competiton?

• Yes, I like it very much
• Everyone can take part in this programe.
- Checking information
Common verbal actions in social relationships include: greeting and introducing,
Leaving and saying goodbye, complimenting and congratulating, thanking,
apologizing, and expressing sympathy
Video dialogue 06:
The Judge: Hello. How are you?
Boy:
Hello. I’m good. How are you?
The Judge: I’m nervous very good to be nervous. Thank you.

What’s your name?
Boy:
My name is Christ revoir Dino
The Judge: And Christian, how old are you?
Boy:
I’m sixteen years old
The Judge: Ok. Tell me who you here with, Christian?
Boy:
My mom is here with me
16

The Judge:
Ok, what do your school friends say about you coming
on the show?
Boy:
I only told like a few people like my very best friends.
The Judge: your best friends?
Boy:
yeah
The Judge: Ok. Yo you sinner?
Boy:
Yeah
The Judge:
Ok, tell me when you first started singing, Christian?
Boy:
I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember.
The Judge: Ok, I have a good feeling about you ah we’ve got rid of
the nervous now, we’ve got to know each other, right?
Boy:

Yes, sir
The Judge: Ok, the Seidman, not sir
Boy:
Sorry, Simon
The Judge:
Ok, Christian, best of luck.
Boy:
Thank you.
…………………………singing…………………………………………
Boy:
Thank you so much
The Judge 1:
Christian, I need ten seconds here because I’ve
actually I don’t know what to say right now.
The Judge 2: I mean what just happened?
The Judge 3: And if you can make one wish right now, this second
to make something come true for yourself. What would you wish?
Boy:
Great, this second?
The Judge 3: Yes
Boy:
Probably the golden but
The Judge 3:
Well, your wish came true.
Teacher asks students to practice communicating with you.
For example: - when did Christian first start singing?
+ He's been singing as long as he can remember.
Teacher asks students to tell the results after watching the movie.
The second time: Teacher asks students to carefully read the information given
in the worksheets and then listen to the video to fill in the missing information

(2 times).
+ Teacher asks students to compare their answers.
+ Ask students to present their results.
The 3rd time: Teacher asks students to review and check answers.
After watching the teacher hand out some questions to the groups, do their own
research and answer. Then present to the class
3) After watching
Let students summarize the content they have gathered in the practice of the
previous exercises.
Ask students to practice in groups to summarize the content.
PART III. RESEARCH RESULTS
17

Over time, having conducted extra-curricular lessons according to the
method outlined above, I found the following advantages:
- Students have conditions to practice in pairs of "pair work" and in groups
"groupwork".
-With the audio-visual view a few times, students can grasp the main
information of the lesson and develop other secondary skills such as: skimming,
reasoning and guessing ability, response practical use in communication, after
study can be used immediately.
- Students are more lively now, students can participate in many different
activities.
- Teachers can easily help students who are lazy to learn English.
- Students can practice all 4 skills, especially listening and speaking skills.
Reading skills are demonstrated through doing exercises. Writing skills are
demonstrated through writing and presenting the results of exercises.
-With teaching an extra-curricular period according to the above method,
students' results in the main lessons have also improved. See the excitement for

this subject.

PART IV. CONCLUDE
1. Conclusion
Through 13 years of teaching at Quan Hoa High School - a high
mountainous school in Thanh Hoa, where the input quality is low, students are
not eager to study while the people's lives are still poor. I want to change
something by my strength for the benefit of the students and the people of Quan
Hoa. I understand that changing people's consciousness is extremely difficult,
and in order to change students' sense of learning, the teacher must first change
his teaching method and form. I have gradually changed teaching activities,
delegated the initiative to them, and stimulated the curiosity to learn knowledge
in each student. I always associate teaching with the everyday life of students, I
boldly combine internal teaching with interesting and useful extracurricular
activities to increase interest in learning for students.
The organization of extracurricular activities is one of the necessary
changes in teaching. This is not an activity that can be applied in all programs of
the program, but it has a huge effect on increasing students' interest in the
subject. English lessons will become exciting, attractive, exciting, and expected

to discover new knowledge. And when you have learned well, see the lesson
close to everyday life, it is very natural to apply knowledge to serve life.
Organizing extracurricular activities in English teaching requires
teachers to be persistent, diligent to explore, must have professional enthusiasm.

Moreover, for students in a mountainous school, mainly ethnic minorities whose
life is difficult, the level of knowledge acquisition is still slow, the teacher has to
really "be addicted to the job". making lessons easy to understand, remember,
and "fun to learn". By doing so, they will have motivation, interest in learning
and educational effectiveness will be enhanced.
2. Recommendation
In order to organize extracurricular activities in English teaching, it is
necessary to have assistance with sound, loudspeakers, information technology
facilities, especially projectors. At Quan Hoa High School, there are only 2
classrooms installed with projectors, so I expect the attention of all levels and
branches for the school's facilities.
Extracurricular activities in English teaching will be more effective if
the consent and coordination of the student's parents help them bring knowledge
into practical life to apply right in each family. …, locally, makes knowledge
accessible to students. So, I wish to receive the attention of the school
administrators and the companionship of the Parents and Students' association to
make more extracurricular sessions with higher results.
Above are very small experiences that I have drawn from the teaching
process at the mountainous high school of Quan Hoa, I would like to share with
my colleagues. Despite many efforts, but certainly not avoid errors. I hope to
receive comments from the school administrators, colleagues for me to
supplement, learn from experience, continue to dedicate to the mountain
education career.
