- Members : 5 players
- People: Tall, strong
- Rule :

+ allowed to commit only 5 fouls.
+ have 4 steps to shoot a ball through

a basket.

- Time : 4 periods (10 minutes/ a
period)

- Size the ball:29.5 to 29.875inches (75
to 75.88 cm)

- Use basket

- No goal keeper

- Members: 7 players(1 goal keeper).
- People : normal

- Rule:

+ allowed an unlimited number of
faults.

+ have 2 steps to pass a ball to throw
it into the goal.

- Size the ball: depending on age. (52 to
60 cm and 330 to 475g)

- Time : 2 periods (30 minutes/ a
period)

<b>II/ Writing</b>

<b>Basketball and Handball</b>

Nowaday, basketball and handball are the popular sports all
over the world. There are many similarities between them, such
as: basketball is a team sport and so is handball. Both of them use
a ball and play with the hands. Another similarity is two sports are
allowed to hold the ball for 3 seconds. However, they also have a
lot of differences. Firstly, the members of basketball team are 5
and the players use a basket. On the other hand, handball is

Besides, time of handball is more than basketball.

They have 2 periods and each periods about 30

minutes, sometimes they have to play an extra time if

it’s necessary, whereas a basketball match has 4

periods and 10 minutes each period. Finally, we can

see the members of basketball team are very tall and

strong, but in handball team, they just need to be

quick and strong, so height is no problem. In short,

basketball and handball are interesting sports. Today,

more and more people like to play it, I hope you will

try it to have your feeling about these sports. Of
