- Call 2 Ss to the board and practice ask
and answer using:

Where’s …?
It’s in….Viet Nam.
B. New lesson

1. Look, Listen and repeat(10’)
* present the fisr part of the dialogue
- T uses 2 puppets to introduce the first
dialogue.

Puppet A: Look. It’s a photo of Hai 
Duong.

Puppet B: Is Hai Duong near Ha Noi?
Puppet A: Yes, it is.

- T-S role play

- T uses 2 puppets to introduce the
second dialogue.

Puppet A: And this is a photo of Ha 
Long bay.

Puppet B: Is Ha Long Bay near Ha

Noi?

Puppet A: No, it isn’t. It’d far from ha 
noi.

2. Point and say(10’)

- T asks Ss to open their book on page
60 and ask them to identify the name in
each picture.

- T tells them that they are going to
practice saying :

 Yes, it is / No, it isn’t.

- T devides the class into groups to do
choral and individual.

- T asks Ss to work in pairs and correct
their mistake.

3. Let’s talk(9’)

- T asks Ss to open their book on page
66 and ask them to identify the name in
each picture and tell them that they are
going to practice more with their friends
using:

Yes, it is / No, it isn’t.

- Let’s Ss to work in pairs and T go

around and help if necessary.

dictation.
