I. Aims: To teach students “Hi/ Hello” to greet; “ I’m / My name’s” to introduce oneself.
to teach them: numbers 0 to 5

II. Objectives: By the end of the lesson students will be able to greet each other, introduce their 
own names and count numbers from 0 to 5

III. Lauguage content:

 Vocabulary: Hi, hello, name, I, my, oh, one, two, three, four, five

 Grammar: To be (present simple tense) with the first, and the third person (singular)
IV. P reparetion: Pictures, cassette + tape, textbook, notebook

Write some sentences using

numbers in cards.
Example:

S1: Oh three one?
T: No.

S2: Oh five four?
T: Yes.

- Ask sts to copy any
numbers in cards into a
piece of paper

- Get one sts to stand in
front of the class while
other sts ask yes, no
questions to guess their
friend’s number

- The student who
guesses correctly is the

- Ask sts to repeat
chorally-individually.

- Use the pictures to
introduce the dialogue.
