LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED AND LISTEN AND

Aims: To give the students some new work, the information about life in the past and the simple past
tense with “used to”.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to tell the activities people used to do
in the past.

Skills: Reading, Speaking, Writing.

Teaching aids: poster, book, model writing

 Grammar: the simple past tense with “used to”.

 Vocabulary: look after , equipment , traditional , great grandma
