On NBMA hubs: appletalk local routing
• Appletalk EIGRP requires UNIQUE EIGRP PROCESS
NUMBERS!!
• In "show apple zone" if a zone shows up with
a ":20" this represents a <space> entered at
the end of the zone name. Zone names must
match between routers! So, "Marketing" and
"Marketing:20" wouldn't agree.
• When you have a GRE tunnel established, try
to tunnel multiple protocols on it rather
than running parallel tunnels
• Doing a "no appletalk routing" then
"appletalk routing" re-initializes appletalk,
BUT, it takes out and replaces all basic
commands (like RTMP) but not commands related
to eigrp or aurp.
• AURP uses UDP port 387. Make sure it's NOT
filtered through an access-list!!
• AURP needs to be full mesh! Won’t router
