Objectives: - By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to write a letter about a future plan. II.Language contents: 1. Struture: The near future tense 2.Vocabulary: (v): raise funds, register, recycle. (n): recycling progame, natural resources, side walk, lake bank. III. Techniques: -chatting, questions and answers,gaps filling pairwork, groupwork. IV. Teaching aids: - Lesson plan - subboard V. Teaching procedure: Teacher’s and sts’ activities Content I. Warm up: (5’) Chatting To motivate Ss before starting the new 1. Which organization is this? It’s Young pioneer organization lesson - T has Ss look at the pictures and answer 2. Which organization is this? some questions It’s Youth organization -Student answer before the class. 3. What is Y & Y? -T gives feedback It’s Young pioneer and Youth organization -T introduces the new lesson: To know more about Y & Y , today we come to unit 6 write II. Pre - Writing : (17’) To get Ss to prepare for writing 1.New words a. Preteach : raise fund (v):gaây quyõ - Pre- teach new words. register (v) : ñaêng kí -T explains the new words by using pictures, recycle (v): taùi cheá explaination and translation or giving recycling progame (n) :chöông trình taùi cheá example natural resources (n): taøi nguyeân thieân nhieân - Ss say the meaning sidewalk (n) : væa heø -T models reading three times. lake bank (n) : bờ hồ -Ss repeat chorally first, then individually. -T puts the words on the board. -T checks meaning and pronunciation. -T asks Ss to copy down 2. Ss look at the picture. -Setting the dialogue: Hoa talks to her aunt about The Y & Y Green Group, and about the activities she is going to do. -Having students read the dialogue silently. -Giving instructions (Hoa writes a letter to her parents on posters) by using the details from the dialogue. -T has Ss use the Outline -Ss work in groups. - Asking students write their letters on the board. - Error corrections if necessary.. them to recycle. d.What does she hope? Post - writing : (8’) I’m very glad to tell you that I’m going to join the Y To help Ss eluavate their writing and Y Green Group of my school.
