turnkey services solution for outside plant (OSP)
and customer premise environments (CPE).

ADC’s expertise in multivendor, multitechnology,
multiservice environments makes us the ideal
choice for OSP and CPE services. We develop
comprehensive Engineering Design Packages
that include detailed site plans, installation notes,
deliverables, commissioning and provisioning
sheets, test data sheets and other information
to ensure that the job is done right the first
time, every time. We also provide an installation
package that includes items such as material lists,
enclosure layout drawings, configurations, fiber
cross-connect design and placement, interconnect

tables and other critical information as well as
firm price quotes based on a detailed scope of
work. All engineering documents are supplied
using the standards set by the customer.
ADC also offers furnishing services to gather and
stage cabinets, equipment and other installation-
related material. Our cabinet preconfiguration
process helps reduce deployment time and
costs. We configure and assemble appropriate
components in a secured, controlled environment
and test each solution to ensure it’s fully
functional before it’s shipped.
ADC provides specific services for controlled
environments, such as controlled environment
vaults (CEVs) and cabinets (CECs). These services
include:
• Installation of passive and active equipment
into cabinets
• Installation, routing and termination of jumpers
as needed
• Jumper splicing and testing, as needed
• Power shelf turn-up
• Battery installation (including identification
number tracking) and charging
• Installation and optioning of plug-ins with
pretesting
• Protector installation
• Preventive and corrective power maintenance

ADC field technicians have extensive experience
in customer premise installations. ADC installs
equipment from more than 70 equipment
manufacturers, including Alcatel, Cisco,
Fujitsu, Lucent, Tellabs and Wescom. ADC field
installation services include:
• Bay and cabinet installations
• Shelf additions
• Wiring and protection of equipment
• Remote power systems
• Circuit pack installation and equipment

We also offer Emerson and Commscope cabinet
upgrades with services that include:
• Materials procurement, management and
inventorying of upgrade kit components
• Method of Procedures development
• Field modification of cabinets
• Installation of new equipment in modified
cabinets

force trained and equipped to repair broadband
transport circuits from 1.544 megabits per
second (Mbps) to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps)
services. This resource is positioned to provide
rapid response to fault conditions in most major
US cities in support of customer service level

agreements.
