What is the focus of my "HP Culture " book?
On an almost daily basis, I hear people talk about wanting to change their existing work culture. At
the same time, I can easily sense the frustration that they are experiencing when they try to make
this happen by only sending people to training sessions or using new buzz words on the job. In this
book, I have really tried to explain in a simple, yet focused manner, how your key work systems
need to, and can, be changed in order to help shift your existing work culture towards higher levels
of performance. The tools and concepts are easy to use, and the examples I use to explain how
they are used are based on approaches and practices that high performing organizations have
already experienced success with.
Why is this book important?
The content of this book focuses on the types of system changes you need to make in order to get
all of your people to begin thinking and acting in a high performance manner on a consistent basis -
in other words, to begin developing a high performance work culture. If you want to make high
performance thinking a daily habit across your organization, or simply within your own team,
consider spending the time to read this book and complete the exercises that it contains.
