OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: + Talk about the difference between life at present and life in the past. + Use the structure “Used to + V-inf” to talk about the things they used to do. II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, hang-outs III. PROCEDURES:. TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm-up: (6’) Matching - Divide class into two groups, give each group a picture and ask them to match the correct activities, which group has more correct activities is winner.. - Lead to the lesson. 2/ Pre-speaking: (15’) - Review the structure to talk about the events in the past, but now don’t exist. Ex: In the past, people used tolive in the small houses. Now, they live in the big houses. 3/ While-speaking: (14’) - Ask Ss to work in pairs, looking at the picture and the words listed, talk about different between life in the past and now by using Used to..
