Time to complete this activity: 10 minutes followed by a 10 minute
discussion.

Exercise 1: Refining the Component Topology

Refine the component topology
1. Participate in small groups as assigned by the instructor.
2. Choose one preliminary component topology as the basis for discussion.
3. Discuss the service distribution with respect to the business object
relationships and the network infrastructure.
4. Given a new requirement of sub-second response time on the client, how
would this impact your packaging and distribution of services?

After completing the above steps, you will discuss your responses with the
class. The instructor will write the class consensus on a flip chart.
