Single Shot Repeater
The HiGain HDSL Single Shot Repeater is a self-enclosed, easy-to-deploy
HDSL repeater. It is ideal for small, temporary, or time-critical applications.
Its simplicity provides a very cost-effective option for installations that
might not otherwise be feasible.
ADC's HiGain system is the lowest total cost solution for carriers to grow their
T1-based business services. Focused on providing flexible, end-to-end solutions,
the HiGain system saves carriers money on T1-based services over copper or
fiber, using HDSL, ADSL, traditional T1 repeater or optical DS2 technology in a
single platform. From operations, maintenance, provisioning and high-speed
backbone connections to central office space and cabling, the HiGain system is
designed to take costs out of today's T1 delivery approach, adding profit to
carriers’ bottom line.

Description
The low-cost HDSL Single Shot Repeater is fully self-contained and completely sealed against the
elements. It can be installed in any convenient location, such as a manhole, an existing pedestal or
splice cabinet. Since it is span powered, it requires no supporting infrastructure and can be quickly
installed for temporary applications like conventions or in response to urgent needs.
Gas tube surge protection is standard, and the repeater features an easy-to-read, top-mounted LED
for status indication. Standard four-foot connector cables also are included.
