This is a festival which is held in Phu Tho province from the 8th to the 11th day of the third lunar month. Although the main festive day is on the tenth day, people prepare many interesting performances beforehand. This festival is held to worship the Hung Kings who are the country’s founders and also the first emperors of the nation. There are many activities which are celebrated at this festival such as offering incenses, bamboo swings, lion dances, chess playing, rice cooking and xoan singing. I like this festival because I can enjoy fresh air and take many beautiful photos while walking to the mountains..
