1. INTRODUCTION, HISTORY OF THAI NGUYEN.
The ancient collection of Nguyen belongs to the Vu Dinh order, one of the 15 sets
of the Van Lang country. In the 3rd century, Thai Nguyen belonged to Vu Dinh
district, later renamed Long Binh district. There are opinions that Ly Nam De's
original hometown was in Co Phap village, Tien Phong commune, Pho Yen
district, he practiced at Huong Ap pagoda until he was 13 years old, then he
followed Pho To Zen master to practice at Giang Xa pagoda in the province. Hoai
Duc, Hanoi. In the 7th century, it was called Vu Binh district, and then became
Thai Nguyen province under the Ly dynasty. At the end of the 14th century, Chau
was changed to a town, in 1407
it was changed to Chau, in 1408
it became a government, in 1677

it became a town. It was not
until 1902 that the court sent an
official to take charge of Thai
Nguyen

and

set

up

its

headquarters in Ngoc Ha.
Since the Ly Dynasty established the capital in Thang Long, Thai Nguyen has
become a hedge directly protecting the north of the citadel. During the resistance
war against the Song invaders in 1076-1077, the southern part of Thai Nguyen
used to be the frontline of the Cau River line, where fierce battles between the Ly
and Song Dynasty took place. At the beginning of the 15th century, the Ming
Dynasty brought troops to Vietnam, and the Thai Nguyen people continuously rose
up to revolt. Typically Luu Nhan Chu, from Dai Tu district, he, his father and
brother-in-law participated in the Lam Son uprising led by Le Loi. During the
Nguyen Dynasty, Thai Nguyen was the site of many peasant uprisings against

feudal mandarins. Thai Nguyen people used to participate in the uprisings of
Duong Dinh Cuc and Nong Van Van.
At the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, Thai Nguyen
land was a regular area of operation, the base of Hoang Hoa Tham. The Thai
Nguyen uprising led by Trinh Van Can (he worked as a soldier in the green

loincloth, so it was also known as the Can team) and Luong Ngoc Quyen broke out
and on the night of August 30, 1917, the insurgent army captured the provincial
capital. However, after that, the French colonialists brought reinforcements from
Hanoi to attack, causing the insurgents to abandon Thai Nguyen and withdraw to
Vinh Yen and then extinguished. Thai Nguyen province was established in the 12th
year of Minh Menh (October 1st of the lunar calendar, ie November 4, 1831), Thai
Nguyen province then bordered the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Lang
Son, and North. Ninh, Son Tay.
From 1956 to 1975, Thai Nguyen was a province of Viet Bac Autonomous Region
and Thai Nguyen city was the capital of this autonomous region. Merged Pho Yen
district into Vinh Phuc province, and this district was returned to Thai Nguyen.
Before that, in 1890, the French government divided Thai Nguyen province under
the Nguyen Dynasty into two provinces Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan. In 1965, the
government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam merged the two provinces of
Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan into Bac Thai province. Bac Thai province was finally
split into two present-day Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces in 1997.
Thai Nguyen is a province in the northeast of Vietnam, adjacent to the capital
Hanoi and a province in the planning of the Hanoi capital region. This is a major
socio-economic center of the Northeast region or the Northern Midlands and
Mountains. Thai Nguyen is 50 km from Noi Bai International Airport, 200 km

IV. TOURIST PLACES IN
THAI NGUYEN
1.Nui Coc lake
The lake in the south of Dai Tu district, about 15km west of Thai Nguyen city
center, is a natural landscape associated with the legendary love story of Coc and
Cong.
In the vastness of clouds, sky and rivers; in the vast greenness of the forests in the
shadow of the lake; and then 89 islands with very provocative names: Tien Ly
Island, Nui Cai Island, Co Island, Go Island, Monkey Island... and far to the west,
Tam Dao range stands tall like a
dark blue wall... Use words to
describe the beauty and charm of
Nui Coc lake - the legendary
lake. Coming to Nui Coc lake is
coming to a "charming water"
landscape; to the fresh, cool air;
to travel on the lake and
immerse yourself in the faithful love story that has become a legend of the

mountainous region.
Nui Coc Lake was originally a section of the Cong River, one of the tributaries of
the Cau River, flowing around an earthen mountain called Coc Mountain. Nui Coc
Dam was started construction in early 1972, but because the US Air Force

launched Operation Linebacker I to ravage North Vietnam, the work was delayed
until early 1973 to restart. In October 1978, a historic flood on the Cong River had
a flow of 3,000 cubic meters per second, nearly four times the design discharge of
the main outlet and broke the two dam shoulders. Nui Coc Dam was completed in
the main part in 1979 and completely completed in 1982.

back to the place. processed to try
to be a tea artisan: from withering, rubbing, starling the tea, and then making the
tea buds with their own hands, which are sweet and fragrant. You will feel all the
hard work from the tiny tea buds and how deep their sweet acrid taste is. Thai
Nguyen has up to nine tea regions, each with its own characteristics, from planting,
harvesting to processing and especially the taste in the tea grade of each region is
different...

Located about 10km southwest of Thai Nguyen city center, Tan Cuong is blessed
with a poetic natural setting. The tea roots are planted on the gentle hills, facing the

rice so that it is evenly cooked and not
dry, then spread it out to dry, stir it for 3
days, and then cover it with sage leaves. Incubate, until the rice is moldy, the areca
flowers are yellow. For soybeans, roast them until fragrant, then grind them, put
them in a jar and soak them in salt water for 12 to 15 days, until they taste sweet,
let the mold incubate for about 30 days. During this time, it is necessary to
carefully check the sauce by using a clean bamboo stick to stir it 2-3 times a day to
let the beans and mold mix together and seal the mouth of the jar with a plastic bag
to keep the aroma. not contaminated by flies.
