I. TƯƠNG LAI ĐƠN (WILL)

Diễn tả 1 hành động xảy ra trong tương lai - I’ll see you next week.
- A: I’m cold.
không có kế hoạch từ trước hoặc được
B: I’ll close the window.
quyết định ngay tại thời điểm nói
Diễn tả một dự đốn mang tính chủ quan, - I think it will rain tomorrow.
- Who do you think will get the job?
không có căn cứ.
- I promise I’ll do my homework before school.
Diễn tả lời hứa (promise), lời yêu cầu
- Will you give me a hand?
(request), lời đề nghị giúp đỡ (offer)
- I’ll give you a lift.
- If I have enough money, I’ll buy a new pair of

Chú ý: Ngoài “will”, ta có thể dùng “shall” trong câu khẳng định và phủ định với các ngôi “I” và
“We” để diễn tả hành động xảy ra trong tương lai (khơng có kế hoạch từ trước, quyết định tại thời
điểm nói). Trong câu nghi vấn, việc sử dụng “shall” có nghĩa như một lời yêu cầu, đề nghị.
