I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
+ Make a suggestion.
+ Use “want to do” in question and answer.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, hand out, cassette
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (10’)
Matching
- Ask Ss to match the pictures with their
activities.

STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES
- Match.
+ go to the beach
+ visit the museum
+ play volleyball
+ go to the zoo

- Lead to the lesson

2/ Presentation: (15’)
 Activity 1:


- Give some new words.
I. New words:
1. A suggestion (n)
2. a good idea (n)
3. want to do (v)
- Check new words: R.O.R
 Activity 2:
- Have Ss listen the dialogue twice.
- Ask Ss to practice in group of 4.
- Elicit the structure how to make a suggestion.

- Listen to the teacher

- Listen and take note.

- Do as directed
- Listen carefully.
- Practice in group.
- Give suggestions, then take note.


II. Grammar:
Ex:
Let’s go camping.
What about going to Hue?
Why don’t we go to Huong pagoda?

3/ Practice: (15’)

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures in A3, then make
suggestions in pair.

- Observe, and make suggestions.

d, Let’s go to the zoo.
e, Why don’t we play badminton?
f, What about going camping?
- Present.

- Call some pairs.
4/ Production: (8’)
- Ask Ss to answer the questions with “want to
do”

- Answer the questions.
