Last month, I had a get-together with some of my high school friends whom I had
not met since we graduated. Then, we decided to have lunch at Pizza 4P's in the city
centre. Arriving at the restaurant, we were quickly given the menu. What surprised me
the most was that there were various types of pizza and drinks; hence, it took me quite

a long time to choose the food. After that, we talked with each other while waiting for
the dishes. Then, the dishes were served. The pizza was out-of-this-world and the
drinks were tasty although they were a bit pricey. We kept talking and enjoyed the meal
and drinks for about two hours. Actually, meeting them reminded me of the time when
we studied at high school and I realized that now we were all grown-up, we had our
own plans to pursue. But we all promised to meet up regularly.

prepared by all of my family members. We planned to surprise him and by preparing his
favourite foods. On that day, my Mom cooked Pho, a Vietnamese beef noodles, while I baked

a birthday cake for him. My siblings were in charge of decoration and music. When he opened
the door, he was astonished on seeing a colourful “Happy birthday Daddy” banner stuck on the

wall in the living room. Standing in front, my Mom gave him a bouquet of red roses, his
favourite flowers. We enjoyed the scrumptious meal and shared our best memories with my
Dad. After washing the dishes, we gathered in the living room. My Dad made a wish and blew
candles. He was in tears and told that he was over the moon and he was proud of us, his home
and his family. We gave each other huge hugs before going to sleep.

5.

Why is it your favourite film?

Of all the film I have seen Doraemon is the one I like best. This movie was released many
years ago and I started watching it when I was 5 years old. Doraemon is a cartoon film. It is
about a robotic cat named Doraemon , who travels back in time from the 22nd century to help a
schoolboy, Nobita Nobi. The reason why I like this movie is I appreciate what the author has
done. These are the really weighty episodes with complex emotions. Besides, it does teach
friendship. All the main characters have flawed personalities, but the group of friends have
learned to accept each other regardless. Nobita is a whiny, lazy kid, and Doraemon is a good
buddy who bails him out in most cases.
