TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Payment in advance is required and must be submitted with this form.
2. Any extension to the period of loan must be sought from the Callaway Centre and payment
made within 7 days of approval.
3. All material will be returned within 14 days of the last performance.
4. A refundable deposit will be paid together with the hire charge. The deposit will be repaid
upon return of the music.
5. The hirer/borrower will pay in full the replacement cost/s of any score/s or part/s which are not
returned, with minimum charges of $20 per part or $40 per vocal score.

6. Scores and performance parts will not be damaged or defaced (e.g. with colour pencil,
highlighter, or taped inserts). Pencil markings other than bowings should be removed from the
parts before they are returned. The hirer/borrower will pay in full the replacement cost/s of any
score/s or part/s which are damaged or defaced.
7. The hirer/borrower takes full responsibility for copyright on the items listed on the reverse side
of this page (as determined by the APRA Guidelines). The Callaway Centre will not in any
way be held responsible for copyright.
8. Music that is still in copyright may be loaned in exchange for a nominal handling fee. No score
or part or section thereof may be copied or photocopied.
9. Cancellations: no cancellation fee will be charged if scores/parts have not already been sent.
If the music has already been despatched the music must be returned immediately. A
cancellation fee of half of the hire/loan cost will be charged together with the Callaway
Centre’s postage/courier cost.
10. The Callaway Centre will despatch orders within two (2) weeks of receipt of order.
11. It is the responsibility of the hirer/borrower of material to check carefully for missing, damaged
or defaced scores/parts when receiving and before returning music. The hirer/borrower must
notify the Callaway Centre upon receipt of damaged or defaced scores/to avoid incurring a
replacement charge.
12. All parts are numbered and must be returned in correct order.
