1. Các trạng từ tần suất phổ biến trong tiếng Anh
•

Always: Ln ln

•

Usually: Thường xun (~ normally)

•

Often: Thơng thường, thường lệ (~frequently, generally)

•

Sometimes: Đơi khi, đơi lúc

•

Occasionally: Thỉnh thoảng

•

Hardly ever: Hầu như khơng bao giờ

•

Rarely: Hiếm khi (~ seldom)

•

Never: Khơng bao giờ

2. Cách dùng trạng từ chỉ tần suất tiếng Anh
- Trạng từ này dùng để diễn tả mức độ thường xuyên của hành động. Ví dụ:
I usually wake up at 6.
He rarely stays at home on the weekends.
My dad always cooks for me.
- Trạng từ chỉ tần suất thường được dùng để trả lời cho câu hỏi “Bạn có thường xuyên làm gì đó
khơng?” (How often?)

How often do you cook lunch?

Rarely, because I usually have to go to work early in the morning.

3. Vị trí của trạng từ chỉ tần suất trong câu
-Trạng từ đứng sau động từ To be

-Trạng từ đứng trước động từ thường

-Trạng từ đứng sau trợ động từ và trước động từ chính

- Chúng ta có thể đưa các từ occasionally, normally, frequently, usually, & sometimes lên đầu câu
để nhấn mạnh. Nhưng có những trạng từ không phù hợp khi đặt ở đầu câu.
