• Including all K11 students and foreign students have
registered for the course (2 classes: 82 students),
International School - Thai Nguyen University, ASE11C
subject, Mr. Hoang Van Phu.
• Invite some interested guests and foreign students to
increase opportunities for students to practice English and
build friendships.

II. Trip preparation
Organization:
• Each student develops their individual plan in advance
and discusses some group activities and plans for the trip.
• Divide into 8 groups, 10 students each, discuss the
group's plan, implementation and management during the
trip.
• Prepare to organize health training activities, skills of
observation, assessment, team building, competition to
play the role of tour guide in English between groups...
Logistics:

Students will rent a car to go to and back (rent 2 large
cars).
Groups to discuss with each other will be self-sufficient
in eating and drinking in groups or individually: Group 7
has a discussion to prepare meals (including: napkins,
spoons, forks, sesame salted rice, seaweed, bread,

sausages), boiled eggs, boiled vegetables, apples,
oranges, persimmons, filtered water and some snacks
such as cakes, candies, ...).
Prepare learning materials (phone, note book, pencil, ...).

Common medicine (mosquito medicine, sunscreen, ...)
and ensure safety when moving.
Funding:
• Students self-sufficient travel expenses each student 135k
(including car fare, entrance fee to visit Phuong Hoang
Cave and group living expenses) the students pay to the
leader of their group. And the money is not spent on food
and drink for self-discussion groups.

III. Activities during the trip
7:00 a.m. get on the bus departing from the gate of the
International Faculty: 8 groups of students have been assigned
before, each individual will have to go in groups of 1, 2, 3, 4
will share car number 01; The remaining groups 5, 6, 7, 8,
share car number 02. On each car, the groups will organize
their own music or activities during the car's journey to tourist

attractions: Group No. 7 together with groups of 5, 6, 8 riding
car number 02 to organize cultural activities such as singing,
dancing, ....
8:30 a.m. at the tourist site: Groups gather, line up to take
attendance of group members. After that, the groups will take

photos to commemorate the trip and line up in 2 rows to move
through the ticket gate, the class will count the number of
students entering and the group leaders will pay the tickets for
their group members. . And inside:
First, the class will rent a room on stilts for students to
bring along for sightseeing.
Next, we will move to Mo Ga Stream Cave (Nuoc Cave)
and students will change their slippers (prepared in advance)
to enter the cave. In the cave, we take pictures, admire the
scenery inside the cave, create memories together. After that,
for more than an hour, I and the students moved out of the
cave, gathered on the stone benches near the entrance of the
cave, put on their shoes, and then I and 5 other friends (Uyen,
Thuy, Chinh, P. he, Ngoc) went up to the dry cave. But after
climbing for about 30 minutes, you gave up, we took a few
photos together and then moved to the stilt house at more than
11:00 a.m., at that time you had lunch with the teacher during
the class. Prepare a cake to celebrate the national day of
Timolestes and invite 4 Timolestes students to attend the same
class as a representative to receive the cake.

Around 13:00 p.m everyone rest until 14:00 move to the car to
go back to school. At about 15:30 p.m. to the campus, then the
students return to the dormitory or room.
IV. Findings
Nature and landscape

When coming to Phuong Hoang cave tourist area, you
can clearly observe and feel the cool and fresh here.
Because it is surrounded by majestic high mountains,
limestone mountains close together with clear spring
water. All create a poetic and lyrical natural scene.
Phuong Hoang Cave
Looking up from below, the mountain has the shape of
two phoenixes lying side by side. The reason the
mountain is called Phoenix is because according to an old
legend on the mountain, there was a pair of phoenixes
who lived very happily and gave birth to two eggs. Every
day, the father bird goes to find food for the mother bird
to lay eggs. Until one day, engrossed in the new flock of
hens, the father bird forgot his duty and did not return.
Then one day suddenly realized, it has returned but the
wife bird has turned to stone. Unfortunately, the father
bird lies on the opposite mountain waiting for his wife to
return to normal, but after waiting forever it also turns to
stone, since then the mountain is named Phoenix. From

the foot of the mountain to the entrance of Phuong Hoang
cave, you have to climb a 1200-step stone path, which
takes more than an hour. Phoenix Cave is a large and

strangely beautiful cave.
From the cave entrance, I began to feel the beauty of
immensity, vastness and mystery. The two arches of the
cave entrance are tens of meters wide and high. Stepping
into the cave, you will feel the shimmering and majestic
beauty. The scene here is really magical, full of different
light sensations. Phuong Hoang cave is basically divided

into three floors: the top floor is the Bat cave, the middle
floor is called the Sang cave, the last floor is the Dark
cave.
The cave entrance can cover the entire scene of the vast

land. The two arches of the cave entrance are tens of
meters wide and high. Stepping into the cave, the light
from the two doors shines in, making the scene even
more shimmering and fanciful. The cave has a
circumference of 380m, from the ceiling to the bottom of
the cave about more than 70m, the bottom of the cave has
clear cold water.
Bright cave is wide and airy, the light at all 3 main cave
doors shines on the stalactites, making the stalactites in
the cave shimmering and fanciful. The stalactites in the
cave have many strange shapes, which can be associated

with many images such as tigers, leopards, elephants, etc.
The cave arch is about 30–40m from the bottom.
Going all the way through the light cave will come to the
falling cave, unlike the light cave, because the bat cave is
deep inside the light at the entrance of the cave cannot
reach, so it will be dark. However, now the bat cave has
been equipped with electric lights to provide visitors with
a better experience. Stepping into the Bat cave will feel a
bit cold, a layer of mist surrounds the cave, with electric
lights shining in, the bat cave is sparkling magically and

majestically, making the witness have to exclaim.
Mo Ga Stream
At the foot of Phuong Hoang cave is Mo Ga stream. The

flow in the waterfall, flowing through the mouth, on the
rock foundation creates small waterfalls with white foam.
Suoi Mo Ga Cave is only 100m from Phuong Hoang

•

Cave, about 10-15m wide, 2m-15m high, and the depth
of the cave is 150-200m. The green Mo Ga Stream, the

cave entrance area and the Mo Ga area pour out to form a
small waterfall with a height of only 2 m.
The water in the slot is usually only knee-deep, but there

are small water holes as deep as a swimming pool, you
can climb up to the 10m-high cave wall and jump down.
Mo Ga Stream has many rapids about 10-15m long, the
water flowing at these waterfalls is likened to silk
ribbons. On the cliff of Suoi Mo Ga cave, "ancient

people" have the words: "Mo Ga spring water is the
vitality of heaven and earth, saving the scent of forest
ginseng and mountain flowers. People will not be
enough.” Currently, the pit cave has been equipped with
electric lights to make it easy for visitors to visit. When
entering the cave, one can feel the coolness and clarity of
the water, besides the majesty of the chicken beak cave.
Make people feel like stepping into a fairyland.
People and tourism business:

People living near Phuong Hoang cave are very friendly

•

and approachable. Mainly ethnic minorities, they look

honest, pure, the people here have their own identity and
always promote and preserve it. on the road. When I
arrived at the place to visit, I found that the population
here is very sparse, mainly hills and mountains, the
limestone mountains are close together to create a
beautiful peaceful scene. They warmly welcome visitors,
sharing their culture, civilization and courtesy as well as
the place to visit the Cave.
Tourism businesses create conditions for visitors to
comfortably experience, from staying to exploring
activities. Besides, to ensure the safety of visitors, the
resort has a security team (going into the cave, people
will see a guard ready to help visitors to ensure safety.

Sanitation to ensure environmental hygiene for the tourist
area.
V. Lessons learnt
About planning, organization, activities, communication...
• Initiatives: prepare entertainment games, divide groups to

eat and drink by themselves. Actively plan for yourself
from preparing items.
Add many new relationships: Exchange and make friends
with classmates in the same grade and foreign students

and some guest lecturers. Create sustainable
relationships, solidarity, help each other in learning.
Lessons on perseverance, solidarity and coordination in

working as well as performing tasks. Lessons on
communication skills, behavior, reflection and listening
to different opinions. Lessons in planning financial
control, reasonable financial division.
Lessons on teamwork skills and control, reasonable time
allocation.

VI. Recommendation to improve efficiently the trip
•

In order to further improve the effectiveness of the trip, it
is necessary to have the participation of classes present
on the trip, which should be informed to the homeroom

teacher, especially with the consent of the International
Faculty - Thai Nguyen University.
There should be discussion among assigned team

members. Allocate time and costs appropriately. Prepare
in advance the items to bring and especially should find
out in advance the place that we are going to visit (can be
found on google, Internet, documents, ...).
Schedule a specific trip more clearly, in detail and with

an estimate of time, so that everything can be done
according to plan.
Organize more group activities during your trip.
