NGHIÊN CỨU, ỨNG DỤNG SÁNG KIẾN
1. Lời giới thiệu
Tiếng Anh là một trong những môn học được học sinh đánh giá là khó nhất trong
những mơn học ở trường THPT. Chương trình tiếng anh hệ 7 năm, học sinh cần học chắc
phần ngữ pháp và từ vựng là chủ yếu. Nhưng đến bây giờ - với chương trình mới hệ 10
năm - theo hệ đổi mới, các em học sinh không chỉ nắm được các cấu trúc ngữ pháp mà
còn phát triển các kỹ năng nghe – nói – đọc – viết kết hợp với những kiến thức xã hội,
văn hóa trong nước và các nước trên thế giới theo từng chủ đề bài học trong sách giáo
khoa.
Trong quá trình giảng dạy tôi nhận thấy học sinh lớp 10 nhiều em có lực học trung
bình và yếu nên rất ngại học tiếng anh. Bên cạnh đó, nội dung bài học theo chương trình
sách tiếng Anh mới - hệ 10 năm – có nhiều dạng bài tập rất khó với các em. Vậy làm thế
nào để các em có thể nắm được nội dung bài học và các em có hứng thú học với tiết học
tiếng Anh?
Qua quá trình tham gia bồi dưỡng “Phương pháp đánh giá và phát triển tài liệu
dạy học” do Sở GD& ĐT tổ chức, tôi đã viết SKKN này để góp phần giúp các em học
sinh tiếp thu bài học một cách dễ dàng và nắm chắc từ vựng, cấu trúc tiếng Anh hơn nhằm
nâng cao chất lượng dạy, học bộ môn tiếng Anh trong trường trung học phổ thơng nói
chung và đối với học sinh lớp tơi dạy nói riêng.

Sáng kiến này có thể được áp dụng trong giảng dạy ở những bài dài có các dạng
bài tập, nhiệm vụ khó, hoặc tương đối giống nhau ở sách Tiếng Anh 10, 11, 12 chương
trình thí điểm.
5. Ngày sáng kiến được áp dụng lần đầu hoặc áp dụng thử:
Sáng kiến được thực hiện với học sinh 10A4, 10D2 tại trường THPT Nguyễn Viết
Xuân từ ngày 22 tháng 10 năm 2019 đến ngày 9 tháng 11 năm 2019.
6. Mô tả bản chất của sáng kiến:
- Về nội dung của sáng kiến:
Sáng kiến này được thực hiện ở một số tiết dạy trong bài 3 - sách tiếng Anh 10
chương trình thí điểm với các bước như sau:
Bước 1: Nghiên cứu bài học, đánh giá tài liệu theo các lĩnh vực sau:
- Chủ đề: xem có liên quan đến kinh nghiệm của học sinh khơng; có thật sự hứng
thú với học sinh khơng; có phù hợp với văn hóa khơng.
- Lời đẫn cho các bài tập, nhiệm vụ: kiểm tra lời đẫn, chỉ dẫn cho các bài tập có đủ
rõ ràng, hữu ích cho học sinh hay khơng.
- Mục đích: có liên quan đến nhu cầu của học sinh hay khơng; có q nhiều mục
tiêu phải đạt được trong một bài học hay không; mục tiêu có đủ thách thức với học sinh
hay khơng.
- Hoạt động: có đủ số lượng các hoạt động khơng; các hoạt động có giúp để đạt
được mục tiêu bài học khơng; lời chỉ dẫn có đủ rõ ràng cho các bài tập khơng.
- Nội dung của bài học, tiết học: có liên quan đến mục đích của bài học hay khơng;
độ khó có phù hợp với học sinh khơng; có nhiều ngơn ngữ thực tế khơng; có phù hợp độ
dài của bài học hay khơng; có hứng thú cho học sinh không.
- Phương pháp: bài học được thiết kế cho việc dạy hay kiểm tra; bài học được thiết
kế cho người dạy làm trung tâm hay người học làm trung tâm; bài học trú trọng đến độ
chính xác hay độ trơi chảy.
- Nội dung và sự cân bằng: phần ngữ pháp, từ vựng và ngữ âm có cân bằng về lời
chỉ dẫn và luyện tập hay khơng; có cân bằng với bốn kỹ năng hay không; nội dung ngôn
ngữ và các kỹ năng có được tích hợp với nhau khơng.
Bước 2: Thiết kế bài học, chỉnh sửa tài liệu cho phù hợp với đối tượng học sinh.
Giáo viên có thể áp dụng các phương pháp chỉnh sửa tài liệu như sau:

- Rút gọn tài liệu (Shorten the material)
- Sắp xếp lại tài liệu (Reorder the material)
- Bổ xung tài liệu (Add a text)
- Đơn giản hóa tài liệu (Simplify the material)
- Thay đổi dạng, kiểu bài tập (Change the form of the task)
- Thay bài tập bằng các dạng bài tập khó hơn.(Replace them with more difficult
tasks)
- Kết hợp với tài liệu (Combine the material)
Bước 3: Thực hiện dự án.
+ Giáo viên nghiên cứu bài học và lên kế hoạch cụ thể cho từng dạng bài để phù
hợp với đối tượng học sinh.
+ Giáo viên chia học sinh thành các cặp/ nhóm thảo luận và thực hiện theo các hoạt
động được xây dựng trong bài học.
Bước 4: Đánh giá sản phẩm
Giáo viên và học sinh đánh giá kết quả bài học và rút kinh nghiệm dưới hình thức
trao đổi, bổ sung, góp ý.
Dưới đây là các bước tiến hành và giáo án của bài giảng có sử dụng phương pháp
điều chỉnh tài liệu vào bài 3: Music chương trình tiếng anh lớp 10
Qua nghiên cứu bài 3: Music tôi nhận thấy một số tiết học cần phải điều chỉnh tài
liệu dạy học cho phù hợp với đối tượng học sinh của tôi như sau:
