• Tran Quoc Pagoda is more than 1500 years old, which means that the place
holds such an important role for the development of Vietnam in general and
Hanoi in particular.

and beautiful scenery

• It is a favorite sight-seeing
place of many Vietnamese
kings during special
festivals such as Tet holiday
and full moon day.


With a convenient location right next to the brilliant West Lake and located
on an island connected by a bridge connecting two of Hanoi's most romantic
lakes, Truc Bach Lake and West Lake.


Tran Quoc has a special architecture similar to the ancient pagodas in Hanoi,
bearing bold Buddhist architectural images with many layers of


construction..


The temple has 3 main compartments: the front house, the ancestral house,
and the stele house


Highlights of Tran Quoc
Pagoda
• Sacred Bodhi tree with heart-shaped
leaves.

• The tree was gifted to the temple by
Indian President Rajendra Prasad in
1959.

• Besides, a fairly complete system of
statues is still kept in Tran Quoc Pagoda.
The most prominent is the statue of
Buddha Shakyamuni entering Nirvana.


Bảo Tháp Lục Độ Đài Sen
• It is an eleven-story building 15 meters
high.

• Built in 1998, there are six arched doorways
and a statue on each floor.

• The statues resemble Amitabha Buddha and

are made of precious stones. At the top of
the tower there is a nine-story lotus
platform and is called "Nine Products Lien
Hoan".
