6.1 ACCOMMODATING YOURS
PREFERENCES:
Place you study:
+ Dormitory room.
+ Bedroom.
+ Living room.
+ Library.
+ Cafeteria.
+ Self- study room.


The kind of desk and chair you use:

+ Arm chair, sofa, high back chair, recline
stool,...
+ Writing desk, bedside table,...
+ Bed, the floor,...
+ ....


Impact of light:
- BRIGHT OVER HEAD


LIGHT.

- MEDIUM LIGHT.

- DIM LIGHT.

The tempurature of the room:

HOT.

WARM.

COOL.

COLD.


6.2 SELECTING A SPECIFIC
PLACE TO STUDY:

STUDY IN THE SAME
PLACE AND AVOID
USING IT FOR OTHER
PURPOSE.

6.3 ELIMINATING
INTERUPTIONS:
You may devise a method to
signal that you are studying.


EX: Student uses a silk
roses to indicate that they
don’t want to be disturbed.


6.4 KEEPING RECORD OF
CONCENTRATED:
When you begin to study, make a note of
the time.


RECORDED TIME:


Spending a few minutes doing
something other than studying: stand

up, stretch or look out the window,
drink a cup of water, take a deep
breath.


=> Many students report that keeping
this kind of record
helps them to double or triple their
attention span very quickly.


6.5 USING YOUR
LIST OF THINGS TO
DO:
=> To provide a handy method for
dealing with distracting thoughts.

=> By writing the things you want to do in the place
they belong, you free your mind to concentrate on
studying rather than on keeping track of other
responsibilities.

Storing your list of things to do in a computer
document. Divide the list into whatever categories
best suit your needs.

o Read your list of things to do.


o Copy the list and select from it
the things you will do today.

o Delete the items you did the day
before.

o Print the list of things you will do
today.


6.6 DECIDING THAT YOU WANT TO
STUDY:
- Decide that you want to study rather than
daydream, listen to music.

- You don’t decide => resentful, depressed =>
punishment.


6.7 DOING ROUTINE TASKS
FIRST:
- Keep a list of your
assignments and arrange them
in the order they must be
completed.

- Review material you have
studied previously.



6.8 DOING LARGE TASKS A BIT AT TIME:
- Learn more thoroughly about
the content.

- Keep up with the subject’s
updates.


6.9 ACCEPTING DIFFICULT TASKS:
- Help us grow and
develop.
- Discover and
develop our
potential, achieve
incredible
achievements.


To accept difficult tasks we
need to:
- Believe in yourself.
- Don’t afraid of failure.
