Hue Citadel is one of the relics in the Hue Monuments Complex group recognized by UNESCO as a World
Cultural Heritage in 1993. This was the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty for 143 years, construction started
in 1805 and completed in 1832 under the reign of King Minh Mang. It is famous for unique architecture,
Hue Citadel has a total of 13 city gates, of which 1 internal city gate and 2 waterway gates and 10 gates
will open to the outside.
