- I can gladly say that the course didn’t let me down: the teacher was so patient to teach me from the very little things like basic keyboard technique, transposition or sight-reading.

Trang 6

- at first, you know, starting something is always difficult, but my teacher encouraged me so much, he gave me the confidence that I didn’t have, and willing to give me compliment whenever I improved each parts.

- He told me to come to his class whenever I want in the weekends without any added fee, because my family did not have adequate condition to buy a piano for me to practice. At that time, I was so grateful because of his generousity.

- Although I did not playing piano anymore, my love for this kind of instrument has never disappeared. I hope that I would have chance in the future to maintain my passion again.

1.Decision: choose the major in university

 Well, I can think of an important decision I made few years ago that is quite challenging for me. At that time, I had to decide which university and major I want to study, and what I want to do in the future.

 My parents want me to enroll in the acountant of “Academy of Finance”, they believed that for girls, something relate to economy and finance is easier to find a full-time jobs than others.

 According to my ability, numbers and maths is not my strength, but I love reading and researching information. Therefore, on the contrary, I hope that I can learn Law in HLU. I assume that this major may utilize my capility and more suitable to me.

 I still remember that I spent so much time just to get my parent’s agreement. I remember that moment, my parents did not have belief in me, and also totally worried if I had to suffer from the difficulty or the failure when pusureing my career. I have to make a promise with them that I can deal with all the pros and cons, and try my best to sastisfy my dream, my passion.

 Until now, despite all the obstacle, I still glad that I did not give up my dream. At this environment, I have so many friends and enthusiam lectures. Pursuing my passion has allowed me to feel fulfilled and happy.

 Making the decision to study what I want was one of the most important decisions I've ever made, and it has changed my life in so many positive ways.

2.Follow – up

- actually not, I think they are person who can make decision more quickly than normal/ others and don’t seem to be stress over them. They tend to be confident and comfortable when making decision. On the contrary, I always take much time to think it through, and still worried after make it.

- in order to make a good decision, I believe that we have to care much about the possible alternatives and the consequences. A good decision – maker chooses actions that give the best outcome for themselves and others. They

Trang 8

enter into the decision-making process with an open mind and do not let

their own biases sway them. They make decisions rationally (hợp lý), after

researching alternatives and understanding the consequences

- I have to say that I am definitely an indecisive person. I take much time to decide everything among many different options. And I really hate to think of what decision that I should make, so my answer always being “anything”, although it annoyed everyone sometimes.

- From my point of view, most of the difficulty actually stems from (bắt

nguồn từ) having too many options. When people have an excess of choices,

they might get caught up in (bị sao nhãng bởi) picturing the outcome of each

one, and as a result, they’ll have a hard time deciding on the one that achieves the best result.

1.Is it easy or hard to find a job in your country

- Absolutely yess

- Positions are highly competitive - can see hundreds of applications

- must be able to draw the employer’s attention - Having a large number of applications

- In fact, in VN, there is the high percentage of graduated students that are not doing the job that adequate to their major in University.

2.Describe a person who taught you something: Grandfather – how tostop overthinking

 I’m gonna tell you about my grandfather, who has instructed me how to stop overthinking. He is also the family member that I really respect.

 In terms of his pesonality, he is an ambitious, hardworking and patient man. According to some story about him, I can make sure that he had to try his best to earn money and go to university by himself in the same

Trang 9

time. With his high score at studying, he was given scholarships by government to study aboard. I am extremely admire him, who own countless qualities that I can learn from.

 According to overthinking, he asked like “Do you see the next step?”. And I said Yes!. His conclusion is “So just do it! Remember, whenever you feel worried about the future, just do everything that you can at best. And You gonna feel better at the end”

 At first, I was not really understand what his mean, but Now I consider that it’s totally right. You know, we sometime fustuated of worrying about the thing that did not happen, and its meaningless. We just need to what we can and then we gonna see the whole road.

3.What skills can young people learn from older people

- Balance between personal life and working: health is the most important element/ make sure that there is no body want to regret because put all effort in job without time for enjoy and relaxing

- Evaluate people’s criticism: waste time/ let those affect us/ choose whose advice and opinions we value

4.What should be done to bridge the gap between the young and the old

- the younger ones have to understand the situations of older peoples: in order to did this, spending time gathering and sharing with eachother is really important/ this can build the strong bond within 2 and 3 generations/ therefore some conflic may be addressed easier.

- some small changes can make a big impact, such as famlily member should decline the time of using smartphone/ you know, children usually follow the footsteps of their parents, this surely can bring the domino effect.

1.Do you prefer to travel alone or with a group of friends

- traveling is the best thing to do in life - had a chance to

- fun and enjoyable

- Traveling with other people would certainly be safe and we are able to support as well as rely on each other

- good way to make friendships stronger, more powerfully

- sharing your excitement and feelings during the trip with friends will make it an unforgettable adventure

2.Describe a time when you helped someone

- I would like to talk about the time when I lent a hand to one of my

classmate in my secondary school.

- It all started when the final exam was coming in next 3 weeks. He is the only one autistic people in my class.

- I think he is really normal and healthy, also such an sociable person, except his ability in learning English quiet weak. Hiss mother asked my teacher for some solution, so she introduce me for her.

- Therefore, I became his classmate for a while to help him revision and improve his score. At that time, I realize that although he met some difficulties in remember vocabulary and understand how to use grammar, he always studied really hard and love learning.

- I and he spend all the weekends and time after school to study together. At first, I believe this would not have any good result because teacher even can not help him, so there is no reason that I can. However, after I witnessed his try- his potential, I also deeply willing to support him.

- we go through all the main points for the exam, learn and review vocab everyday, we even had a conversation in English by phone every afternoon.

Trang 11

- The outcome really paid off. He get 8 for the exam. I felt extremely happy for him. I helped for his achievement, but I felt that I also receive something, it is the precious lession of support eachother, and what is the true effort.

3.Helping orther:

- In my mind, the help a person can do takes a variety of forms, like giving advice to others, easing someone’s financial burden or helping neighbour water the plants. Such actions are simple yet they can prove extremely helpful to the needy person.

- less reliable than from a friend or a family member, who tend to better understand your situation or what you’ve been through.

- HUMAN: not depents on data, put themselves on your shoes, have experiences and may more mature than you are, can listen to you truly and deeply

1.What’s your favourite vegetables and fruit:

- fruit: watermelon, I would say juicy and sweet and crunchy and it cleanses

the palette. It's texture is somewhat grainy and the clear sweet juice is trapped

between thin layers of its red texture and when we bite into the layers the juiceexplodes in our mouths and run down over lips. Awesome experience for all

-child or adult.

- vegetable: I’m not really into the green products, so If I have to choose, I

would say: pumpkin. When the pumpkin is roasted, it brings out more of the

sweetness. It’s texture is probably a little more ‘watery’ compared to sweet

potato, which is another vegetable we like to use the same way. It mashes verywell and is perfect as a puree to accompany fish or meat.

2. Mangosteen:
