I.INTRODUCTION1. Greeting:
Good afternoon, everyone, we are group 5. Today we are very happy to be here to present our topic.
2. Introducing the group’s members:
There are 6 members in our group: Tang Thi Kim Ngoc, Truong Thi Kieu Oanh, Phan Cong Phuc, Do Tu Tai, Chu Thi Thao, Nguyen Thi Thu Thao.
3. Introducing the group’s topic:
The topic is private transport.
4. Outlining the presentation:
There's 3 parts in our presentation. Content is private transport in the progress of development from the past to the present and into the future. Our presentation would address the development of private transport ever since.
5. Presenting the introduction of the topic:
Private transport is an important topic in the economic, technical and environmental fields. It focuses on personal means of transportation that people use every day to get around, including cars, motorbikes, bicycles, and other vehicles.
This subject may study various aspects of personal transportation, including historical development, new technology, environment and health effects, and driver behavior.
Reseaching this topic can help increase understanding of issues related to personal vehicles and provide solutions to minimize their negative impacts on the environment and human health.
II. BODY/ DEVELOPMENT1.What is private transport?
Private transport refers to any mode of transportation that is used exclusively by an individual or a group of people for their own personal use. This can include cars, motorcycles, bicycles, boats, private jets, and helicopters.
2.Revolution of private transport2.1. Private transport in the past:
In the past, private transport was much different than it is today. Before the invention of the automobile, people relied on various modes of transportation such as horses, carriages, and bicycles. These modes of transport were mostly used by the wealthy, as they were expensive and required maintenance.
For example:
Horses were the primary mode of transportation for centuries, and they were used for both transportation and work. People rode horses, and they were also used to pull carts and carriages.

Trang 10
Bicycles were invented in the 19th century and quickly became popular. They were affordable and allowed people to travel faster and for longer distances than walking. Bicycles were used by people of all social classes, and they played an important role in the women's suffrage movement as they allowed women to travel independently.
Overall, private transport in the past was much different than it is today, and it has evolved significantly over time.
2.2. Private transport today:
In the early 20th century, automobiles were invented and quickly became the primary mode of private transport. They were expensive at first, but as production became more efficient, they became more affordable. Cars allowed people to travel faster and farther than ever before, and they quickly became a symbol of status and wealth.
2.3. Private transport in the future:
It is claimed that by 2030, vehicles will be electrically driven, autonomous, and ownership will shift to car sharing. These changes will have a profound effect on today’s societies.
Successful introduction may lead to road trauma reductions, cleaner and more liveable cities, and enhanced mobility.
3.Pros and cons of private transport3.1. Pros:
Firstly, private transportation allows for personal choice, independent freedom, convenience, and flexibility
Secondly, having a private vehicle means you save time waiting for the next bus or train to come to the station. Go out anytime at night or as early in the day as you want.
Finally, as you don’t share with the general public there is more space for you to take advantage of. Seats are also often made of leather and are more comfortable than public transport.
3.2. Cons:
Driving private transport is more expensive than public transport like bus, trains…You know, costs include gas, oil, tires, insurance, and parking.
Besides, the enhanced number of cars on the road, there are more traffic jams causing delays. Being stuck in a traffic jam is a waste of time. Especially in the rust hour people must to be waited for hours in the roads
Moreover, nowadays more people drive their own vehicles like cars, motorbikes… The growth of private transports puts the environment at risk. The smoke of vehicles can lead to air pollution. Furthermore, driving for long hours in traffic can contribute to health problems and stress. People who drive for long hours can easily get heart disease, and other health issues associated with

Trang 11
Passengers on public transport share buses and trains with a large number of strangers. If you love your space and value your comfort, the lack of both should necessitate you to choose private means.
Public transportation involves picking and dropping passengers along designated routes. This makes it more time-consuming. For private transport, people are always up to date with your schedules.
Traveling by private transportation offers a safer, more secure, and more reliable way to travel.
III. CONCLUSION1. Reviewing all main points:
Finally, may I remind you of some of the main points we’ve considered. Our group's presentation covered the difference between private transport.
Firstly, part is private transport in the past. It is little used and primitive. Most people travel by horse and bicycle.
Secondly, means of transport such as cars, motorbikes, … have developed and become more and more modern. In particular, people have used private transport more because it is convenient and brings them comfort. And finally, our team covers the future of personal transportation. I think these will be increasingly advanced means of transportation, improved by modern machinery technology. And most people will use private transport.
2. Ending the presentation
That brings us to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention. And now if there are any questions, I would be pleased to answer them.
