down.

*Game:Who is faster?
- Divide the class into two teams, ask them to go to the board and write
down the adverbs of five adjectives in the textbook/ P52. the team, writes
quicklier and more exactly, will be winner.
-Setting the scene: “Use any adverb from the game to complete the
following sentence.
+Hoa is a______English teacher and she speaks English______
-Help Ss distinguish the use of adjectives and adverbs.
*Form: S + V + a/an + adj +noun.
Or: S + be + Adj
S + V + adverb.
*Use: Adj. modifies the noun after it the subject.
- Some go to the board and write down the letter.

Exercise 1/p52
-Ask Ss to work in pairs to do the exercise 1/p52.Ss use the advs in the
box: softly, well, fast, badly, hard to fill in the dialogue.

-Setting the scene: - Ask Ss to look at Mr. Hao’s house and answer some
questions.
Questions:
1.Is Mr. Hao’s house new? 2.Is the wall discolored?
3.How is the door? 4.Is there grass in his garden?
5.Should Mr Hao repair the roof ?
-Give the explanation of the modal SHOULD
*Form: S + should + V-infinitive
*Use : Give an advice

*Meaning: Neân (laøm gì ?)
-Give Ss the question
“What should he do with his house?”

-Ask Ss to use the verbs to advise Mr Hao what he should do.

*Set the scene: Ask Ss some questions:
+ In the dialouge what did Miss Jackson give Tim’s mother?
+What did Miss Jackson say Tim should do?
 When Miss Jackson gave Tim’s mother a dictionary, she said “Can
you give Tim this dictionary?” And she said Tim should work harder on
his Spanish pronunciation.
-What did Tim’s mother report it to Tim?
Form: To ask/tell + someone + to do something.
-Ask Ss to drill exercise 3:
a.”Please wait for me outside my office.”
b.”Please give Tim his report card for this semester.”
-Do exercise 1.
