I. Objectives:
To help students:
- To know the popular sports in the USA.
- To talk about sport activities.
II. Language contents
1) Vocabulary: skate boarding, roller-skating, rollerblading.
2) Grammar: adverbs and adjective
III. Techniques: reading, listening, writing and reading.
IV. Teaching aids: a cassette, a tape recorder, text books, pictures.
V. Procedure

-T. asks student to close the book and
guides students to play game:
“NETWORK”.
-T. divides class into 2 teams: team A
and term B. team A uses green chalk,
team B uses yellow chalk.
-T. asks students to go to the board and
write as many sports as they can.
Which team gives more correct names
of sports will win.
-Sts. do as directed
-T. corrects.
-T. introduces the lesson
-T. asks students to match names of


sports to the pictures(book closed)
-Sts. do as directed
-T. asks student to answer the question:
“Can you guess what sports
American teenagers like most?”
