Unit 8: OUT AND ABOUT
Lesson 6 ( C1-2 )
I. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, the Ss will be able to use: can/ can’t statements and
traffic vocabulary to talk about what you are allowed and not allowed to do on the
road.
II. Language contents:
- Grammar: Modal verb: can and cannot/ can’t
- Vocabulary: policeman, difficult, sign, one-way, park, turn left, turn right, go
straight.
III. Techniques: slap the board, complete the sentences, make the sentences, ask
and answer, pair works, group works.
IV. Teaching aids: lesson plan, textbook, pictures page 89, 90 and cassette.
V. Time: Allotted 45 minutes.
