Danh từ số nhiều được thành lập theo quy bluật chung như sau:
Danh từ số it + S

Ngoai lệ:
Danh từ số ít tận cùng bằng s,o,ch,sh,x + es
a box……….boxes.
a class…… classes
a watch…… watches.
Danh từ tnj cùng là 1 chữ cái phụ âm + y ta đổi y thành i + es
a city…….cities.
a country…… countries….
Chú ý:
Danh từ số nhiều people có số ít là: person
Danh từ số nhiều children có số ít là: child
Danh từ số ít house có số nhiều là houses.
Danh từ số ít bookself có số nhiều là bookselves.
