I/ Comparative Degree
1. short adj / adv: S + be / Verb + Adj / Adv+ er + than +S

Adj: Long is taller than Tuan.
Adv: Long runs faster than Tuan.
2. long Ad/ adv: S + be / verb+ more + Adj / Adv+ than + S

Adj: Huong is more beautiful than Thao.
Adv: Huong dances more bautifully than Thao.
II/ Superlative degree
1. short Adj/ adv: S + be/verb + the Adj/adv + est + of all/ in the
Adj: Huong is the tallest girl in our class.
Adv: Huong runs the fastest of all.
2. long Adj/ adv: S + be/verb + the +most + Adj /adv+ of all/ in the
Adj: Huong is the most beautiful girl in my class.
Adv: Huong dances the most bautifully in my class.
III/ Equal degree
