I. Pre- reading
• Vocabulary
- To plough (v): to turn up the soil: cay
- To harrow (v): to break the soil: bua
- Plot of pland: mieng dat, manh roung
- Peasant (n): farmer: nong dan
- Local tobacco (n): thuoc la dia phuong
- To take a short rest: nghi giai lao ngan


- To pump (water) into (v): bom (nuoc vao)
- To transplant (v): cay, trong
