I.Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to use adverbs of manner and
modal should as an advice.
- To use reported with commands, requests and advice.
Moral: Educate sts to give and advice suitably and retell polite in reported
speech.
II. Language contents:
1. Vocabulary: Review adverbs of manner.
2. Structures: Modal “should”
S + asked/told + O + (not) + to-inf
S + said/told + S + should + V-inf
III. Techniques: Pairwork, Gap-filling exercise, pelmanism
IV. Teaching aids: Pitures, cards

Contents
1. Warm-up: (Pelmanism) * Pelmanism:
Prepare ten cards with numbers soft good

Ask sts to work in pairs
Sts read the conversations silently
and use the adverbs in the box to fill
them
Call some sts to give their answers

next week.

4. Advice in reported speech.

Ex: “You should stop smoking” he said
