I. Aims:
- To introduce the Textbook- English 10
- To introduce the way of testing.
- To set up some class regulations.
- To give a fifteen - minute test.
II. Procedures:
1. Textbook introduction:
a. Contents: - Six themes: + You and I
+ Education
+ Community
+ Nature and the environment
+ Recreation.
+ People and places.
- Sixteen units.
b. The Structure of the book:
- There are sixteen units. In each unit, there
are five main parts:
+ Reading

+ Speaking
+ Listening
+ Writing
+ Language focus: - Pronunci
- Grammar and vocabulary.

3. Class regulations.
4. A fifteen- minute test.
