I. Objectives:
- To help Ss develop speaking skill.
- After the lesson, Ss will be able to complete a telephone message by listening.
II. Preparation:
- Textbook, cassette and tape.
III. Teaching procedure:

- Homework correction.
3. New lesson:
A. Warm- up: Telephone transmitting:
- Divide Ss into two teams.
- Choose six volunteers from teams.
- The volunteers stand in two lines. The T shows the first S in each line a
telephone number.
- He whispers it to the next person in his line. The second whisper to the
third until the last one.
- The last S shouts out the number, if it is as the same as the number T shows, that
team wins the match.
B. Presentation:
* Pre- listening:
- Ask Ss to look at the form of the telephone message on P.21 and set the scene.
- Have Ss guess the message.
- Let Ss work in pairs.
- Give feedback.
* While- listening:
- Get Ss to listen to the tape twice and fill in the message.

- Ask Ss to compare with their guess.
- Call some Ss to give the answers.
- T plays the tape once again and pauses at each information for Ss to check.
- T gives answers:
