A. Warm up.
-Ask the Ss to give the outline of the letter.
-Read the outline aloud.
-Ask the Ss to write the outline.

+ Opening.
+ Body of the letter.
+ Closing.
B. Pre- writing.
Introduce the thank you note to the relatives or friends.
-Ask the Ss to read the thank you note, and complete the letter using the form of
the verbs. (Work in pairs)
- Check if necessary.
- Ask the Ss to read the completed letter.

Thank you very much for the flowers you sent me while I was in the hospital.

They were very beautiful and they really helped to cheer me up. I came out of the
hospital on Monday morning.
