I/ Warm up: Chatting.
- Let Ss introduce some information about themselves
(maybe in Vietnamese) and introduce oneself in
English.

II/ Presentation:
1/ Pre- teach vocabulary.
- I : tôi (translation)
- Hello =Hi : chào (translation)
+ am = ’m : là (translation)
* Checking vocabulary: Slap the board.
- Gives introduction of the text (set the scene): Mai and
Nam greet each other.
- Plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape
twice.
- Asks Ss to listen and repeat in chorus three times.
- Lets Ss practice the dialogue in pairs
- Gets some pairs to read it aloud.
