Photoshop’s default format for saving graphics is PSD

When integrating Photoshop with Publisher, it is necessary to
save a document as a JPEG.

Compatible File Formats

While Photoshop and Publisher are often used together to
create documents using both text and graphics, each has its
own native format.

When using these programs together, it is necessary to use file
formats that they both recognize.

There are two types of masks: layer masks and vector masks.

Masks use grayscale.
